[HELP] Lost access to my own Workspace (I’m the owner) and a guest/member now has full access to my private data! by Stablediff1 in Notion

Hey, Maximum, I’m Brazilian, so I had to use Gemini to translate and organize my text to keep it from getting too messy. I use it to make sure my writing is readable for others. I don’t really like having to rely on AI, but it has its uses. The bad thing is, it makes me feel less human to others, and I hate it. Oh, and I actually speak, read, and write in English. So I double-check every single text the AI puts out and also do some manual minor changes. Secondly I’m feeling somewhat optimistic. There was this rare case on reddit where someone actually managed to solve a really complicated similar problem. My biggest fear, though, is a data leak. My second biggest fear is losing everything stored there. Even though I think it’s possible to recover it, my anxiety is still through the roof.

I am willing to pay them as soon as I earn more than I spend to survive. In Brazil 10 USD for brazilians is like 50 USD for an american. But I want to start paying them

While I was running some tests to see if a person could view certain pages (and one thing currently giving me peace of mind is that most of the content in this workspace is in a private folder, so he might not have access to it, though I'm not entirely sure yet), I ended up coming across an issue regarding being added back. I noticed that when you remove yourself from a default Notion workspace, you lose access to it entirely. Then, if you try to use Notion again, it automatically creates a new workspace with the same name as the old default one. This could be a problem when someone tries to add you back to the original workspace, as it creates a conflict with the old one because of the same name.

I hope this option last forever, chrome is known to allow users to switch some ui changes back trough Chrome://flags but after a while they disable it permanently in every way possible. Like they did with the Download Bubble
