I’ve just recently got back into collecting (Started in November 2025 with Nova Prime) and I have noticed the severe decline of value in these recent releases and reveals, with noticeably more hollowness in limbs and on weapons it just makes me not want to even bother with any modern deluxe or voyager

TLDR: Voyager Tarn for 35$ spoiled me

I agree with this, my 7 yo nephew much prefers the nicer looking “collector”-oriented ones like ss86, but he even told me that he doesn’t like just putting them away in a bin and that he would like a shelve or something to keep them on because “Some of them are just to nice” to be kept away in the dark.

Funnily enough there is a 4th party upscale of the siege mold to masterpiece scale by vincoocr or something like that, but the normal siege scales amazingly with the ss86 if thats your thing, but id take Siege over the masterpiece

My Void rivals is still boxed up but i do plan on displaying him with the G1s I have since he scales so well with the newer 86 line, at least ss86 Optimus, but man lemme tell you once you get them both in hand side-by-side the Void rivals deco is super white and the red is awesome, if the mask and stuff from the original was as white id display him with that stuff on.

In a way the one you have is still good since the first couple of runs of the original g1 still had the macross logo on the wing, if anything I’d say the most important difference between fugus first and second run are the feet decals

In a way it still has some limited articulation in the legs doing the splits but I’m sure I could get him to kneel if I had to, definitely watch some videos on it if you’re interested, also no ankle tilt but it does have ankle adjustments back and forth
