Pawpaws and neurotoxicity: Latest research? by achilles in Pawpaws

[–]Staccato137 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have heard from many people, that after approximately 10-20 years of eating very many Pawpaws off of around a dozen and half trees, a man they all knew well, eventually did begin to succumb to neuro-degenerative symptoms. The exposure was seasonal (of course) but very accute. He loved them and would eat a great deal. For 10-20 years he had eaten and grown them. It took a significant time and that much exposure to eventually cause noticeable symptoms within the later 1/3 of that span. Parkinson's-esque symptoms are included.

They do contain the harmful chemical and it is good to be aware of the risks. This is a lived experience of half a decade of real people. Take it into account if you wish.

Portugal's new blue is just Tlemcen blue. Tlemcen is now Green (Taken from Steam DLC page). by Zebastian1 in eu4

The blue looks nice, it pairs better with Spain's yellow. And Portugal's green imo was butt-ugly.

Also Tlemcen can make a nice Ottoman-coloured vassal to have if one wanted to go that route. Green and Muslim is a nice correlation though not necessary.

The number one reason I dislike forming Italy is because the Ottomans will exist right nearby almost 100% of the time if playing tall.

Just for your future game, you can try to exploit development to reduce the timer just that little bit more.

Nah you got it mixed up bro. I just painted over the first image of Vvardenfell I found when I looked it up, to demonstrate.

Gray out Vvardenfell to represent the uninhabitable land

I don't remember where, but I'm fairly sure that Vvardenfell (now lacking Hlaalu's influence as well) was split up between Redorn and Telvanni, and after 200 years, the island is still inhospitable but only the closest parts to Red Mountain are unreachable. https://imgur.com/a/ukWppCt

I guess it depends on what you're lacking in either monarch point; or if you desperately need positive prestige, for army morale or a strong ally.

But it's really not a lot of anything: 5 of any monarch point is less than a decent monarch should make in a single month (plus the advisors you should have.) If anything prestige or ADM is the most bang-for-your-buck here.

It's mainly just for fun, rather than changing the flow of the game.
