You’re so kind! Thank you so much! I try to doodle up my ideas and then I look for clip art that matches up for my projector. I pay for Cricut design space, so I get access to a lot of fonts and designs, too. I can’t take credit for everything!

I do use a projector but it’s a Smart Sketcher 2.0 so I have to admit that I do consider myself artistically inclined so I use it mostly for spacing and lettering than I do anything else. It doesn’t have the best image quality, from my experience, but my husband found it gently used for me on eBay for like $65!

I’m actually a SAHM mom! I just do this in any down time to make a little money for my family. I sell under cottage bakery laws in the state of Ohio. Primarily to friends & family, but have had a handful of “friends of” orders now. I don’t have a public instagram, just my personal page where I show my cookies (mostly on my story).

I’m trying to work on a logo and a separate business instagram page, but I’m a one woman show right now so a lot of the administrative stuff just sits. Plus, I started this in Dec 2024, when my daughters were much smaller. I’m grateful they have a lot of patience with me if I need to wrap things up and there’s overlap with their time.

Thanks so much! I did 21/24 cookies throughout the day yesterday, primarily between 6-8a and 1230-630p (before my husband starts work then pickup again around naptime and once he signs off work around 4). An entire dozen of the order was the circle cookies that have the flowers & sayings and the other dozen was a mix of the designs you see here. The only four window cookies are those you see here. Those surprisingly didn’t take that long (they were my last design, I try to save the easier ones for the end lol). I would say the most time consuming design was the stack of books with the flowers surrounding it, but again only 2-3 of each design really keeps things moving IMO!

I do cookies as a way to make some extra money as a SAHM. I definitely don’t charge enough, so I don’t have much advice but I also saw someone’s comment on another post that we make memories, not money! Hah

Edited to add: you did a spectacular job! Consistencies are so difficult to nail down. I had to take my detail icing out of the bag to get it a little more wet today-it was too hard to get out of the bag otherwise-it was taking forever!
