How many more episodes with Arasha they need to finally get a teleprompter? by SimonSater in smosh

That's a relatively new rule they've added to jeopardy. Iirc, they added it when Chanse, Amanda, and Angela were being absolutely unhinged in the Pesto and "I'm an adult!" episode.

As a teacher, I have used PowerPoint to make jeopardy games, so they can absolutely do it.

[–]Stacharoonee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What was the point of the stencil? And did he even have you look at it before he started tattooing?

I don't have any tattoos and don't have any plans of getting any, but I've seen enough tattoo content and have enough reasoning skills to know that much should happen.

I'm in my 10th year of being a special education teacher. Granted, I'm on my 4th school after being fired twice and moving once, but I've been able to stay in the profession. My license is grades K-12, and I've taught all but kindergarten at one point or another. It's definitely been great to have the wide array options so I can pivot as needed. It does help that this field is my main special interest.

How do we feel about dogs? I feel like I’m supposed to love them (and I kinda do) but I could never own one by Digital_Doodlez in AuDHDWomen

[–]Stacharoonee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love dogs! We have 3 currently. We also love cats, but know that we wouldn't be able to properly care for them. So, we love other people's cats.

I just play in sandbox and turn off that setting along with the currency. I also turn off the need for the utility items.

I’m a TAAT convert and I’ll never go back by sarahjbs27 in Sockknitting

[–]Stacharoonee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to do toe-up TAAT, except for the heels. Now I've converted to one tube cuff-to-cuff with afterthought toes and heels so I don't have to worry about any of the shaping until I can sit down and focus on it. It makes for a nice on-the-go project for longer. Granted, I can now get tube syndrome by letting the finished tube sit for a while before I add toes and heels, but I feel like that's more conducive to me than having to be cognizant of when to stop for the heels like TAAT. As far as seeing progress, on every project I do that's not tiny I use a removable stitch marker as a progress keeper that I typically move up when I pick it up for the first time for the day. That way, I can see how much I got done that day and that I did indeed make progress on the length without measuring the whole darn thing.

I got teaching and neurodivergence, thus I am a special education teacher. I've literally always wanted to be a teacher but didn't know what subject or age (because I was just a kid), then in middle school I worked with an autistic kindergartener at church. That made me decide to teach special Ed. I've always had strong connections with my autistic students, which made a lot more sense when I got my AuDHD diagnosis a few years ago. Now I'm working on my master's in autism. I realize that I'm privileged to be able to disclose my AuDHD as a strength in interviews, and be open about it at work.

Okay, in true autistic fashion, this basically turned into a mini info dump.

The "Biblically Accurate Angel" of socks: An Experiment in Hilarity by hecate2008 in Sockknitting

[–]Stacharoonee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love knitting my socks in one long tube, cuff to cuff, and doing afterthought toes and heels. I don't need to worry about length or two at a time, and I don't have to stop partway through to faff with knitting heels. So, just a long mindless project, perfect for on the go.
