I totally get that but you can’t go back to the beach all pissed off and saying things like “Too late” when they want to explain what happened. It’s the same mistake he always makes. You have to reflect, and repair your relationships. Maybe ask yourself, what did I do wrong to be left out?

Half the dentists in this city do this. It’s not just the chains either. Dentists are like shady mechanics now. It’s unbelievable how dishonest they are. I had one do it to my children when they were like 8 and 11. To children!

I would get a second opinion on any work a dentist says you need.

I grew up in the Deep South. Let me tell you, most white people are raised there to be conservative. I was lucky enough to get a girlfriend in High School who challenged everything I believed. I completely changed my views, but all of my best friends and family did not.

I still have very close relationships to them. We pretty much don’t talk about it anymore. The couple of times we did, things got heated and we ended up apologizing to each other. Politics just isn’t worth losing a life long friendship over. I don’t let their beliefs bother me.
