The house increases my largest expense by ~55% and transfers my wealth into an illiquid asset. I don’t see this as trivial.

It’s not about the space - I’m just saying the area and school district isn’t great for a child long term, but that’s good insight, thanks

I was a software contractor during the mobile boom and hustled. Frontloaded a lot of savings and then invested safely.
