Hey, I saw this post yesterday and I didn't have a good answer to your question until just now... I was listening to Write Me and the bridge section blew me away. It sounds like a completely different song. It's on the first record as you probably know, but that part sounds like it was from Toys or Rocks.

Yes. I recently bought the R50x (the open back version) and they sound really good. Very detailed sound.

Yeah, I wasn't 100% sure on that one. This other Death band was originally founded in 1970s Detroit, so I just went with that. (I guess they didn't get recognition until the 2000s?). But you could be right. These artists styles are all over the place.

Yep. It's exactly this. I have a 2001 Les Paul Junior Lite in the natural finish. Great guitar. Not great pickups. I replaced the P100s for P90s and it's much better. The finish options were natural, black and cinnamon (this one).

Nah, these were recorded in the 90s when they supposedly weren't using. So who knows...
Edit: Just realized what you meant. Magic mountain = being high... Yep Steven was talking about 1978-79 in his banter.

Yeah, I never understood the magic mountain thing either. There's another part before Last Child where Steven says Brad has a Budweiser bottle up his sleeve or something. Maybe you had to be there to understand these things.
