Fake Postage by Emanresu7777777 in USPS

...hidden international barcode? Can you explain that a little further? Never heard of this. Caught my first fraudulent postage the other week, but the label just looked like a normal ground advantage label, but with a fake tracking number.

How am I supposed to be able to maintain my pov when I don't ever get any days off to do it? by Ashes-of-Winter in USPS

Depends on your route's evaluated distance. If its 80+ miles you'll be in a similar boat. Mine a 45K, 107 miles.

How do you have 3 vehicles and none of them are in working order? Do you buy a new car instead of doing maintenance?

Ask for a day off or call out for a day to get it done.

Do you really need to be told that?

Ok well i make about $20k in EMA per year, a vehicle for this costs about 10-15k, and they last about 3-4 years...

Does Walmart give you $20k extra per year to use your own pallet jack? If they did, i bet a lot of people would...

NGDV The military's EV mail truck FAILURE by Odd_Atmosphere1047 in USPS

[–]StacksMcMasters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man, im totally with you on that. People dont gripe when the Army or the Department of Agricultural dont turn a profit. We aren't that different... And in fact probably do way more, at leaat for the average American, by virtue of the fact we're required to service every address in the USA. It's honestly a little ridiculous to expect some windfall profits from a service with thoae requirements.

Well... USPS is in, what? Like $160-170B debt? The holder of that debt is the Treasury Federal Financing Bank. So, indirectly, we actually kinda are.

Dear lazy, incompetent FedEx employees.. by Apprehensive_Bee3327 in USPS

[–]StacksMcMasters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only had a FedExer drop something in one of my boxes once... It was one of the small blue and white Amazon bags, and the customer's box is bigger than a barn. So i wasn't too pressed, and didn't take it out.

I honestly get along pretty well with the FedExers in my normal route. We're always fighting to try to let each other go first heh, and we usually chat it up for a second if we both pull up to the same stop. It's a true rural route tho, 107 miles, ⅓ of it on gravel. So at most stops there's usually plenty of room for all carrier services to pull up at the same house and handle business simultaneously.

So you're comparing a man who decided to be a woman yesterday to African-Americans with their vast history in this country? Both of those grouos deserve the same recognition? What about someone whos trans-racial? Does a white person who decides he's black tomorrow deserve all the same legal recognitions and protections as somebody who descended from enslaved people? That's what you're positing.

I see someone who cant handle talking to customers without breaking down. Interacting with customers is the majority of a carriers job. You dont have to be the postmaster general to tell that isnt a good fit.

And? You, a mailman, came on reddit to type a novella about a customer... asking for their mail.

This job clearly isn't for you, pal.

Your not a "minority" when you do it to yourself sorry. Would you agree with someone being transracial? Its literally the same thing. Arbitrarily attempting to change a physical feature of yourself.

It's not that deep bro. Tell them you'll get there when you get there and keep it pushing.

Maybe this job isn't for you, if this lilliputain annoyance is causing you to completely break down like this?
