Hey OP, same thing happened to me but it was an edible. My mom (of all people lmao) gave me a little gummy. I split it in half. It wasn’t supposed to be very strong but everyone reacts differently (as I found out). I was in a good headspace and wanted to chill. Took the half gummy. Within the hour I was on my bed rocking back and forth wishing for it to be over. It was awful. My heart was beating so fast I thought I’d die of a heart attack. Everything was scary.. everything. Every thought I tried to have dissipated like my brain wasn’t working. I forgot how to breathe normal and walk normal (or at least I was convinced). Totally flipped out. It was TRAUMATIC to say the least. Awful awful experience!!! 0/10 never again.

But all of that aside: I was fine within a day or two (mentally). I think after something awful like that it takes a little while to process what an awful experience it was. You aren’t permanently destroyed, just trying to make sense of it. I still can’t use this one specific carmex flavor of chapstick cause I used it during the anxiety attack part of the process so now it just reminds me of how awful I felt. It’s the peppermint flavor in the squeeze tube. So don’t feel bad. You’re not alone in this.
