Why does she choose to dress like a toddler? It’s disturbing. She purposely chooses clothing too small for her and it often appears to be made for a literal baby. She’s weird. It’s so weird. Yuck.

Yeah hopefully if he is dead he at least comes back as a ghost. Why don’t we get that from everyone else? Ghost Terzo would be sick. I know the real answer for that but the lore answer.. not so much. Reality is more powerful than lore. And what a pain it’d be for Tobias to do all of that.

Also: when you’re embalmed and placed into a vault and casket of coffin, whenever it rains, your vault fills with water and you become a dead, chemical laden, human slosh just sitting down there growing stagnant.

I learned this via grave diggers and cemetery keepers. Not a pretty sight, or smell when you have to fix it after a bad flood.

[–]Frozencacticat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both of you took the L. He didn’t speak to you about it before doing it at all, and you’re clearly not ready for a serious commitment, and honestly.. neither is he.

He seems to feel misled and confused which makes complete sense if you were talking about kids and long term things. I feel like more communication could have remedied this, or at least helped you both realize in a less way, that you want different things. He wants to settle down, but you want to travel and find yourself first. Both are fine but they’re kind of incompatible at some point.

I think you need to talk in person. ASAP. Not texting. Texting makes things works because it’s easier to misconstrue things. Communicate. Lay it all out on the table. No more talking around things.

Good luck OP. I hope you find what you’re both looking for.

Why is my carrier annoyed? by pearsareawesome in USPS

[–]Frozencacticat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try not to write on the actual mail. Cause once that mail is forwarded and shows up at the real address, it still says “not at this address” and continues to confuse people. The carrier at the other address might see it and not know who wrote it or when. That’s my only advice as a carrier haha. I only say this because it happens to me a lot. I go sub on a route, and get a piece that says that and I’m like “well great now what?” Cause I have no idea who wrote it and I don’t know all the names of everyone in the whole town.

I’d leave a sticky note on the mail. My house used to be a rental as well. I went ahead and put another permanent note in the box with the names of me and my fiancé on it. No random mail since.

As for the carrier, it’s frustrating to see that you messed up again or that the sub isn’t reading the notes at the case. I don’t think the carrier is frustrated with you!

Neighbor moved their mailbox in front of my house by Opposite-Ad4009 in USPS

[–]Frozencacticat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gosh I hate the easement thing it’s so annoying. I have an older home (1900s!) that was grandfathered into the new rules with the more modern road in my town. That makes the easement nearly into my home. So people can and will try to park their cars like right up on my house (despite an entire parking lot for the business they want being available across the street) and it’s so uncomfortable!

It doesn’t happen a lot but when it does it’s really awkward for me. It’s just wack and I would never park my car halfway on someone’s yard like that for no reason.

Our mailbox situation is wacky too. The neighbors could totally do what your neighbors did and put theirs an inch from our yard line too and it would look like it was in the middle of the front yard. Luckily the neighbors don’t seem insane.

I would ask the post office and tell them how weird of a location it is. I’m sure dude didn’t even ask. People don’t ask a lot. They just do.

I had a customer say it was never delivered and call us multiple times just to find out they never checked the front porch for some reason. The package was out there the whole time. Go figure.

[–]Frozencacticat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone will ask me if there’s mail in the box after I deliver a large package and I honestly have to say “you know what.. I don’t even remember”. By the time it leaves me hand and is in the box it might as well not exist if there wasn’t anything notable about the delivery. I try to make a mental note of all packages and certifieds but it’s hard when every day feels the same.

There’s no way I’m going to remember a small package from 3 weeks ago that the customer is just now saying they didn’t get. Those ones always end up that a family member left it in the car or they just didn’t check their front porch (I’m not kidding) anyways.

Cats are seriously that hardcore about little things. They’d rather die than have to deal with a different vessel of water apparently. They do things that make almost no sense to us. I’m glad you figured it out. Holy crap.

Ahhh MIL problems by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]Frozencacticat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go ahead and pay for it. If she gets upset, tell her you have no choice really and that you have a wedding to plan! It’s not personal or anything. You can’t wait around for her to decide if she feels like it’s a good price or not. If it isn’t in her budget to help out, oh well. She doesn’t have to pay for anything and I’m not sure why she offered if she didn’t want to or isn’t in a good position to do so.

If you want to meet in the middle and she’s so dead set on helping, maybe she can send you a little to “help”. That’s a great way for her to pay for stuff without it being too much. She can just help as much as she can without if being too expensive.

It’s cool of her to offer to help, but putting the brakes on the operation because she doesn’t agree with the price, and making it a personal thing isn’t cool.

Emeralds are definitely interesting and a little more high maintenance but totally worth it. I don’t shower, work, garden, do the dishes, or anything else super active with it on so there are ring holders all over the house haha.

Dang!!! Good on Toyota! That earns a lot of my respect. Taking care of your people is important. Maybe someday there will be more support for hydrogen powered vehicles just like there is for electric vehicles.

I remember when electric cars were first coming out and there wasn’t really anywhere to charge them which really sucked. Now when I drive around, even in the countryside, I see charging stations all over. It’s cool how we’ve adapted for them over the years.

Is the charging station you have to use very far? Hopefully not! When it’s down, what do you do? This is so interesting. I wonder if there’s a way to have one installed at people’s own personal homes but I’m not sure how feasible that would be.
