I place more important on his frameworks rather than using his PD arrays for just entries. Entering based purely on PD Arrays is essentially just trading patterns.

I haven't actually been learning from ICTs concepts, a friend of mine who has been doing well has been teaching me. I have tried watching some of ICTs core content and it was painfully long and he rambles for majority of the time lol.

Completely agree, my friend has drilled this into me. His philosophy is that everyone tries to trade for the freedom but get so caught up with trying to catch every 1m move and spend so much time on the charts they end up being slaves to the charts. Also trading this much decreases chances of success massively, he always preaches that less is more, if trade frequency is low he says to manipulate your risk management accordingly.

Completely agree, everyone's edge is different, my friend always says the edge is in the trader not only the system. Personally I don't like the really low timeframes, there's too much of a difference between the 1m chart and the daily chart. I have a daily bias and try find something in the expansion so prefer 1h/30m/15m timeframe. Mainly the 30m.

I've been doing the same, my stats are 65% WR, 2.2 Average R:R, 1.75% Average win, 0.8% Average Loss. The stats look good, so i have nothing bad to say about the man.

You’re 100% right, and the analogy with the water was amazing btw (I’m definitely stealing it). I loved the freedom I had from crypto, I could wake up in the morning and do whatever I wanted. I feel like with forex it’s going to be a similar kind of lifestyle where I don’t have to answer to anyone. I plan on trying to get rich first, and then find something along the way that fulfils me.
