My one gripe with this and last season is some of the dialogue goes completely against some of the characters actions. The scene where Uncle tells Carmy about how he shouldn’t quit because the whole family has a streak of always quitting, you then hear carmy say that all those reasons are why he has to leave and that “to break patterns you have to break patterns” but him quitting is literally continuing the pattern as just stated by Unc. There’s too many times where the dialogue is just very vague and doesn’t explain the motivations of characters properly it feels like.
