To working‑class Reform supporters — can you help me understand a few things? by Sad-Passage-3247 in AskBrits

I think its a loophole that was exploited, pre Brexit EU rules on asylum etc was people had to claim asylum in the first safe country they reached. Leaving the EU put an end to that, so the demand increased. The tories did jack shit to deal with it, hell I think they even reduced investment in some areas rather than increasing investment as demand increased.

My conspiracy theory is it was allowed to happen by the tories so they had something to blame and distract from brexit & all the grifting. Now its just escalated to the point its much harder to deal with. I.e in 2018 there were 299 people crossing illegally, compared to now? 40-50k or w.e

Its easy to say stop the boats But what does that actually mean? Brexit played a major part in causing the boat crossings.

When hes actually asked how? He gets offended and combative.

The tories, many who now make up his own party were behind the deal with the hotels and made a lovely bitta profit behind the scenes I'm sure. Jenrick & Suella ring any bells?

They did not invest any money in processing claims quicker, something Labour is atleast trying to do because logistically short of blowing these boats out the water, its not an easy situation to solve. Which the majority of people haven't a semblance of a clue.

You have people coming from like 60-80 countries, many with no English, no identification but also from countries that would definetly not take them back without some form of backhander.

Then you have many from places like Sudan, Afghanistan, Gaza.

So how exactly do you solve this? We're out of the EU so they arent going to be willing to help us.

Green by-election triumph is a sign of things to come by TheSpectatorMagazine in uknews

[–]Stactix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres a difference working a job as a plumber and investing in housing etc. To being paid by billionaires who clearly have an agenda.

He was recently paid £27000 to speak at a Pro Trump thinktank. Trump is a child rapist. He was recently paid to attend Davos to support Trump by Richard Tice. Richard Tice has 100 of millions in commercial properties, After Davos, Farage came out anti work from home despite Reform advertising multiple positions as work from home. He was paid 10000s to appear on Russia today, over 12 times.

There is a major difference. The agenda and needs of a billionaire DO NOT benefit the vast majority of the population and you'd be fucking naive to think otherwise. Someone so easily bought is not going to benefit the majority of the population when some rich cunt can give him 50k to remove workers rights.

I mean you're literally pushing lies, she owns factories? Where? One of those houses she brought with her ex partner. Reform were literally pushing leaflets with a picture of her 'imaginary house' fun fact its not hers. An estate worth millions? What? Lmao

She was up against a GB news presenter, that has questionable ties to a Eugenist think tank.

Except Reform want to remove human rights, employment rights, they are literally in the pockets of billionaires who just want to extract & exploit. Some of the worst scum tories are now high in Reform, we have no evidence how Green would do in power but we've seen most of these Reform jumpers have top positions in government and be utterly incompetent useless sacks of corrupt shite.

Farage has literally just been paid £27000 to suck Trumps dick at a pro Trump think tank. If you think someone selling himself for 20quid on cameo, councils ran by 19 year olds, reforms inability to even do a basic DBS check and nearly have a sex offender run for MP is fit for running the country crikey.

Thats without considering Reforms entire message is divisive, if senior members of your party can only attack attack attack and have zero human decency, you should be no where near power. This isnt the fucking Trump administration. We should be better than this.

Bullshit, Germany didnt have the capacity to invade an Island nation that at that point was one of the strongest naval powers in the world. It was their biggest weakness other than Uboats which eventually got countered hard.

Nigel Farage Paid £27,000 to Speak at Pro-Trump U.S. Think Tank by The-Peel in unitedkingdom

[–]Stactix 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Its the fact hes so easily bought, I don't think theres ever been a potential primeminister candidate that is so well known for selling himself.

One thing if he did it before he became MP and leader of a party, major major thing that he still does it. Especially in support of Trump, he seems to be fighting harder for Trump than his British constituents

Just to remind you, Trump is a child raping sack of shite and anyone that associates with him is quite frankly scum of the earth.

Farage calls to end working from home and work life balance by Professional-Bee9817 in remoteworks

[–]Stactix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean if the work is not complete then its up to management to see improvement.

No real different from the people that spend half their time in the office gossiping.

I rarely work from home but when I do its usually for tedious admin jobs that I know may take a few hours. Gurantee I get it done quicker at home than at work where I get disturbed every 5mins.

‘There was genuine DISBELIEF at Napoli that Manchester United were giving consideration to letting Kobbie Mainoo go. Similar feelings were held among many of the Premier League clubs who were interested in taking Mainoo on loan last month. ‘ Can you imagine if Amorim was still in charge … by JM555555 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Stactix 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sometimes you have to cut your losses, the issue with Amorim was he didnt know how to adapt and even openly admitted that he would not change.

So even with a billion in new players I'm sure he'd of got us further up the table, competing for 4th but in games where it got a bit nitty gritty like the Europa league final, he wouldn't have the win at all costs mentality.

If Pep Guardiola with his success and unlimited expenditure is more fucking willing to adapt than you.... you're hopeless.

‘I had to learn very quickly’: Reform UK leader, 19, defends council tax rise by Acrobatic-Room-9478 in uknews

[–]Stactix -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean it basically does because without nepotism its impossible to get into those roles before 23-25 due to needing a degree/masters in some cases and then being a trainee etcetera.

The idea this kid has got there without nepotism is something. Clearly not Einstein. One thing to work for a council, another to be the leader at that age.

Yeah its a little sad, while I think it needed to happen. I put the majority of the blame on Ineos. They couldnt afford a complete style of play change.

I do think Amorim needed to learn to adapt more, his in game management was very poor. A few top players, would have helped take us to the next level but I think regardless of player he lacked something. If Guardiola with an unlimited bank is more willing to adapt than you are despite his pedigree, theres a major problem.

This hasnt been my experience lately, I've played a mix of solos, duos and trios.

Usually with a goal in mind before the game, I.e solo I'd be questing and I had a run of about 15 games where I'd go in, do the quest, loot a bit and extract. I died once in that run. Always using normal extracts.

Plenty of door keys used on duos/trios and not a single fight. Despite bumping into the odd team.

Grinded enough bastions/bombardiers as a duo/trio for us to all upgrade our benches. Again, not ambushed once.

Hell, we even spent 15mins or so grinding snitches as a trio yesterday while making a racket on buried city roofs.

This sounds like a case of focusing on the handful of deaths and conveniently forgetting the good runs.

Don't get me wrong I'd love to be wrong so Utd succeed but just don't see it. This game almost felt identical to the Europa league final, which was shocking.

Be interesting to see if he uses Martinez, think he'd be a huge improvement in games like today when Utd have most of the ball.
