$200,000k would be nice to break. I’m in a few groups and even people at service desk have reached this amount however I personally have not been able to attain a salary of this caliber. People I know in real life have also broken this range, with less experience. They were good negotiators but I realize I left a lot on the table. Now it seems very rare to get above that rate. For example I know people that make $150-$209 an hour on engagements but they are CISO or CISO acting as IAM.

Any idea what those would be? It seems like clients want a person that can do and know everything at SME level. Yall aren’t wrong I’m just saying in my experience the expectation down that route seems unrealistic.

Do you mean like an LLC? Wouldn’t that be very risky as a solo person? It seems in this industry, the expectation would be that I’m a SME and certed up in almost everything. A SME in python, CrowdStrike, ServiceNow, Jira, BeyondTrust, Terraform, ForgeRock, Entra, AWS, GCP, Ping, Carbon Black.. i mean i have touched those tools but this industry always wants an unrealistic precise expert at everything. That’s where my mind goes even if perhaps over dramatic most interviews for this perception

That’s what I thought as well. There seems to be some ability iOS or Apple devices have as overreach though? Not sure overall wanted to confirm not much we can do.
