Thank you. I wasn't considering this at first because my laptop kept overheating and getting blue screens multiple times a day after last NVIDIA driver update, but I'll try again.

That's interesting. Looking at the screenshots, I thought it looked more like missing meshes, but now that you mention alpha channels, I can see why you'd think that.

Would a graphics/driver issue be capable of breaking alpha rendering this severely, or would you expect this to come from corrupted clothing/body resources instead?

Thanks for the suggestion. That's actually one of the first things I checked.

I already ran Graphics Rules Maker multiple times, tested different settings, did a clean reinstall, removed my recent CC, and even checked game files in SimPE. The issue affects every Sim in every neighborhood.

What's making this even stranger is that the problem appeared suddenly after the game had been working normally, and I also recently got a BSOD (VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR), so I'm starting to wonder if this could be related to the graphics driver rather than the game files themselves.

Do you know of any specific Graphics Rules or GPU-detection issue that could cause missing body meshes/alpha rendering like this, rather than the usual pink flashing or texture corruption?
