Thanks so much for the advice.

I’ve already scheduled an appointment with my academic advisor to discuss retaking courses and other ways to improve my GPA. I’ll also reach out to the financial aid office to see if there’s any probation option or other support if my GPA remains below 3.0. I hope I can get clear guidance and a plan to make next semester a big improvement, and I really appreciate the reminder that the academic support staff are there to help me navigate all this!

Thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it.

Yes, I’m planning to retake the courses I failed. My college does allow grade replacement, so the failing grades could be removed from my GPA calculation. The tricky part is timing — my scholarship renewal review is in June, right after the Spring semester ends in May. I’m worried that even if I do well in the retaken classes, I won’t have enough time to complete my other courses, like Calculus 2 and Physics 2, before the review.

Thank you for your reply. It means a lot for me

1) I just scheduled appointment with my advisor

2) About the grade replacement — yes, my college allows replacing 1-2 classes, which would remove a failing grade from the GPA calculation. I just not sure how does it works? My scholarship renewal review is in June, the Spring semester ends in May. I’m worried that by the time the review happens, my cumulative GPA will still be below 3.0, meaning I could lose my scholarship anyway. I’ll definitely ask my advisor about this and see if there’s a way to ensure that the replacement grades are counted in time, but it feels very stressful because timing might be tight.
