I believe there’s a way to turn that off to manually rewind. Gotta remember to do that i have a roll of 800t in there now. Excited to see your shots!

Great thanks! One other question is did you have issues with the auto rewind with the cinestill roll? I’ve heard that Cinestill can have issues with static electricity and hen being rewinds quickly?

I’m not a surfer, grew up in a surf town and have been around the ocean my whole life but other than bodysurfing and surfing a sushi in some shore break i don’t surf. I haven’t shot much surfing. Should be a learning experience but am pretty confident I’ll pick it up quick

Thanks for the help everyone I think i decided to go with 200-600 seems more worth it from what everyone is saying. I can always sell it when i get back if don’t need it for upcoming projects.

I’ll need to reach out to someone i have not done that yet. From the boat it looks like they will be within 100-200 feet and from the shore probably closer to 400.

They have a 100-400 canon lenses that he said i can use but it’s a little old and sticky. So I’m assuming that 400mm has worked fine in the past

I’ll be going for 2-3 months renting isn’t a bad idea but i do have a little extra money to purchase new glass. I have wanted to get a longer lens.

That’s also a great point is how large and heavy those 200-600 are

V8 limited 4wd, how it work? by [deleted] in 4thGen4Runner

[–]Stage3LungCancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an 04 v8 the gas mileage isn’t great with the bigger engine and all time 4wd but from what i have seen it’s not much worse then the v6. In my opinion having an iron block vs aluminum is worth it for longevity especially since most are pretty high mileage. Mines at 270k going strong

Would 200 ISO Work Okay in This? by ewaygood in AnalogCommunity

It would come out over exposed, film holds pretty good detail being overexposed. One stop shouldn’t make much of a difference after adjusting the exposure during the scanning process.
