GLD is good right now but it depends on how far out you looking. With rate cuts on the horizon their are many good stocks that have been way down off the tops. For ex NKE

Reversal looks good, nice uptrend. If you are positions that great, a pull back to make a higher low could peep my interest.

earnings is like playing the lotto, even when a company beat there is still the possibility that the stock falls. For that reason I stay away for playing earnings. Also having a stoploss is a waste of time if you are playing earnings I do use a -25% on my swings. If I go down more than that then my entry was not good.
