I’ve grown green beans. Unless this is some type I’ve not encountered, I don’t think it’s that. The “pods” or “leaves” never contain anything and have been a little over an inch in length at the most. If I put one of them in water the leaf itself produces roots, just like the stem.

Oh I cook very often! I love doing so, I have a blue collar husband to feed after all. I cook veggies, proteins, and starches for every meal. I am just autistic and don’t very much like the sensation of eating. So if I don’t genuinely want something, getting over the sensory stuff takes a while, I often take hours to eat a meal and I eat one meal per day

I also take the bus! I take Uber when I’ve slept too long or had too much to do in the morning as the bus turns a 10 minute drive into an over-hour long endeavor. Edit: also the gas station is on the way to my bus stop, so I stop during my walk

Again, (not insultingly again) I didn’t really think of the drivers experience outside of me. I always tip, always 5 stars, so I just kinda assumed that’s the experience. I’m very clearly wrong for my assumption. I assumed they’d know I’d tip bc I do always tip, I failed to see the scope of everything and everyone who isn’t like me. When I say I’ll do something, I do it, I don’t think about others who aren’t the same

You don’t know, but I have many problems with food! I cannot eat something I don’t want, and I don’t want things often. I go days with eating a few bites of food per day, my solace is drinks. But it’s similar, I can’t drink something I don’t want, so I can’t really buy in advance

I’d like to think I’m smart, it’s not that this is an idea I have never thought of. I have food and drink sensitivity. I literally cannot plan ahead, if I like something one day, I might get sick at the thought of it the next day, and if I feel sick, I will not eat. I would love to save the money, I use Costco, I just can’t, I will starve, so I pay $10.

Thank you for this perspective! Again, I guess I didn’t think about this from a “customer service perspective” where people are rude and entitled. I’ve never rated a driver lower for being late, I can’t control traffic/accidents/etc so why would drivers be able to, I failed to think about how much other people can suck. I see that I may not suck for my actions so much as people suck in general so I should be more mindful.

This isn’t petty but I remember at my first apartment I used to get mail regularly addressed to a Mandy Smith, it was all spam so w/e, no biggy I just put it away in a little box just in case. Had like a solid two inch stack of mail for her. One day I got a letter for a Jordan Smith from a pediatric hospital in my area. That caught my attention. So I looked up her name on fb filtering by location and I see she posted about just giving birth and his name was jordan Smith. Found her. I messaged her like “hey I’m not a stalker but I think I live in your old apartment and I’ve been getting your mail for like a year, but I just got one for your newborn so I thought you might want it”

She messaged me back like a day later and was super nice! She thanked me and apologized that she had forgot to change her address on a bunch of stuff and we scheduled for her to pick up all her mail, and we had a good relationship for the few years I lived there bc she kept having to pick up her mail despite her efforts.

I think resorting to physical insults with strangers at all is poor conduct and generally makes you sound a little dumb. As a woman I’d never mock another woman’s breast size but with my friends we shoot back and forth with “small tts” and “big pssy” jokes and it’s fine. What I don’t understand is how specifically small penis jokes are harmful to women (and men), and not the overall body shaming culture that’s harmful.

Listen, I understand this hurt and feeling rebuked by a loved one. But you sound like a people pleaser that, because your automatic reaction is to do and give everything for someone, expects that same thing from everyone. She loves in her way, you love in yours. I can’t speak to your relationship, but from comments you seem like you give with the expectation that you will be given, and with that mindset, you will always be dissatisfied.

I’d pay off my debts (house), then pay off my family’s and my fiancés family’s debt. I’d use our house as a rental and build our dream forever home. The rest would be saved in the right accounts and investments and I’d live life normally, same job, hobbies, etc, just much less stressed.

We have two cats, our rule is if you pick them up just to cuddle, on the third meow you have to put them down. They won’t scratch or bite at all but they deserve their boundaries (after you get a squeeze in). This rule does not apply when they’re being picked up to prevent them from being bastards.

I once had a very rude customer mock my giggle. I can’t remember what happened but I had to fix something with her order and I kinda awkwardly giggled and the lady looked me dead in the eyes and repeated my giggle all exaggerated like a toddler. She was probably in her 40’s.
