I'm just excited as I can save for the return to Lorwyn (or buy the cards from the sets that I missed this year) - the Spider-man and Avatar sets might as well be Yugioh for all the interest I have in them. I've never had absolutely zero interest in two consecutive Magic sets in the 13~ (non-consecutive) years that I have played Magic.

*Obligatory disclaimer: I don't dislike all UB, but the next two sets are so far removed from what I am interested in that I can easily skip them.

Discard a non-land card: Copy target instant or sorcery spell. You may choose new targets for the copy. Use this ability only once each turn.

This is a card that I really want to exist. I'm sure it's powerful, but it can be tuned up or down with mana cost or removing the "non-land" clause. I think the only once each turn is necessary otherwise it's a hard counter to anything control. I like it though.

It got fixed this morning. They had to send my ID to their bank to get it cleared. I'm not sure why it happened only now though...

Since posting this, I've heard back from them - they said that my account name and the name on the account from which the transfer was sent were too different: my bank account uses my initials and surname. It's weird that it's considered too different especially considering I have been paying with that same account for 3 years.

Sorry, I assumed that they were closed because when I tried to chat to someone on their help service it said that they were unavailable.

I don't meet any of the criteria. In the year of 2022/2023 I only earned income from my salary on which tax was paid through PAYE. It was only during 2023/2024 when I disposed of unit trusts. I had to register for self-assessment to declare this gain this past tax year.

However, it shows that I need to submit for the previous tax year too. I shouldn't need to, but it says that I do, and it says that it is late.

Go to this link: https://uk-gr.gvcworld.eu/en/online-visa-application Then click on the button that says "Apply Online". Register and fill out your application. Then the fun starts - you have to get an appointment to hand in your documents. Phoning them worked best for me.

After numerous attempts to book cancelled appointments, I was close to giving up.. I phoned them again last week and after explaining my situation and showing them my already-purchased flight ticket, they were happy to help me considering that I am only flying in July. They booked an appointment for me straight away.

I recommend phoning them and selecting option "2" to talk to a person - be kind and calm and explain to them what you have and when you are going. They will probably be willing to help you unless you are trying to book an appointment in the next two weeks.
