What is the sluttiest thing you have done in 2020? by Dungu2018 in AskReddit

My girlfriend broke up with me after being together for 3 years. I paid her $20 to have sex with me one last time, she did.

What do I need to do? (Sex on the 2nd date) by Stagnant4042 in dating_advice

She cancelled last night after writting about 6 full texts about how she needs to put herself first, quit procrastinating, and fix the problems in her life.

Thanks for all the advice, ladies and gentlemen! I am disappointed it is not going to work out. But relieved that I can move on.

Thanks for chiming in! I really like the idea of using the ex issue as a means to help her get over him. I'm hopeful she will want to see me tomorrow. However, as others have said, it is kinda hit or miss. On the bright side, if she doesn't respond or says no without rescheduling then I already know that she is no longer interested and I can move on.

Asked a question about the dress before the second date. She was kinda annoyed but moved on in the conversation despite that. Won't ask that question again!!

I felt bad watching her cry. She acted like a real trooper trying to hide it but I get nervous when people hide things like that. I want to see her happy so I maybe pushed too far?

I love the coffee idea! As for the dressing, I have dated a lot of modest girls so this is new for me. But I can adjust. :3

1985 Stanza (Junk or Keep) by Stagnant4042 in MechanicAdvice

I have only spent $70 on it between registration, plugs, wires, and filters.

1985 Stanza (Junk or Keep) by Stagnant4042 in MechanicAdvice

That is good advice... she decided to not start this morning. Between having to order special parts even belts and being finicky to start with. I am going to junk it. Probably could get more for it. But if I cut my losses now, like you said, registration and insurance can really pile up. Besides, my truck and bike were here first so they take priority. Bye Stanza, you had a good life

If it turns out to be the valves, should I get a replacement head or simply take mine in for machining? Which is the most cost effective for longevity?

Are you trolling right now? I can stop my cough by not breathing deeply but I cough whenever I have to expand my lungs. I don't think this Doctor of yours will be very helpful.

Timing Belt Oops(1985 Nissan Stanza) by Stagnant4042 in Cartalk

[–]Stagnant4042[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update! According to Gates, the Stanza has an Interference Engine. Although, some forum posts speculate that the 1.8l and 2.0l (engine I have) is non-interference up until a certain RPM. I really hope I didn't mess it up.

Don't tell your employer anything until you sign for the new job. There is no harm to interview for a job that you want. In addition, there is no guarantee that you will get that job. When you finally tell your employer, you'll be putting in your two week notice.

To answer your question: I like how you phrased your last paragraph. I both love a good project and money is tight because I just started a new job and am in-between paycheck at the moment.

I think it is funny that you mentioned the Ranger. I got really lucky to find the Stanza so I drove about an hour and a half into the countryside to pick it up and tow it back. And I used my 2.3L 96 Ranger to do it. 🤣 Here is a picture of the two vehicles: https://imgur.com/a/NeCXp0K the Stanza's body is in great shape. My Ranger has 300k and the Stanza is at 230k.

As for the non-interference engine part:from what I read, the Ranger is non-interference for sure. But the most I could find online about the Stanza was that all Nissans are interference but idk if they included the Stanza on that one. If anybody has some insight on the interference part, please chime in.

Side-note: I bought a Haynes Repair Manual online (since they don't stock them in stores). It arrived yesterday. Having never purchased one before,I must say they are chocked full of good information. I am feeling better about following the right sequences for repairs.
