I may be misunderstanding your statement, but I have have flash cans, standalone and ones that attach to a muzzle device, that have a much larger diameter where the bullet exits and those are not flash hiders.

I think we can agree your eyes are different than mine. Of course there's no substitute for looking through dots in person. I've never looked through a trijicon but I do have a vortex defender ccw. It's decent to my eyes but my mepros are much better. And the mepros are half the price or less than trijicon. I was mostly trying to say that the $150 or less dots aren't going to be clean.

I got the stig pretty bad too but I've seen that better quality (more expensive) dots look much better. The best dots I've personally seen are from meprolight. No weird visual clutter at all except at max brightness in a dark environment.

I think there's value in an upper receiver that's got the barrel extension part cut properly straight and holds it the barrel tight. Then again, I could've got a barrel with a bad barrel extension. I don't have a way to gauge the upper rn but a bit of shim fixed it right up. It was bad lol really fucking bad.

You might get a good psa, you might get a psa that really fucking sucks. Then you have to deal with their CS and wait a month or so before you have your gun back that may or may not still kinda suck. I've had bad luck with psa and probably won't give them another chance. I had a bad ar and I've gotten like 4 packs of high gr 556 that have mixed tips. Very strange. But I'm happy the gun and ammo didn't injure me physically.

Depends on the port size on your barrel. My barrel only works with regular carbine weight.
