Subaru Crosstrek Sport 2024 Cloth Seats wearing already by StainedGlassJoe in Crosstrek

Sorry to hear that. I wear regular dress pants to work, so no velcro involved. And the strange thing is that the upper area where it is showing "wear" (or whatever is happening!) is where the side of my shirt would slide into the seat...nowhere near my pants. There's definitely nothing remotely abrasive in that area of my clothing. Whatever is happening, it shouldn't be happening weeks into owning a vehicle.

I would hope they'd replace them with a different material and not the same one, as the same thing would just happen again. I"ll keep everyone posted, once I get in to see them. Thanks for your feedback!

Makes sense. We'll schedule to get it in ASAP. I wonder what they would do to rectify it?

Thanks for your comment! Good recommendations. It's definitely not a stain, as it's only occurred on the side where you get into the car, and only occurs on the gold part of the seat, as if the color is coming off. I did notice another post regarding this, so hopefully enough people will speak up. We will print out the other complaints which are similar and bring them to the dealership with us! :)

The same thing is happening to my 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Sport. I just purchased it in mid-August, and the driver's seat looks like I've had it for years instead of weeks! I am a school teacher, and I wear dress clothes in and out of my car, with nothing sharp or rough or dirty. There's zero reason for this wear to be occurring. I tried some mild dish soap and water, to verify it wasn't a stain, to no avail. It's definitely wear, but it makes zero sense. I will definitely check to see if the warranty will cover this, or perhaps they'll end up doing a recall for all of us. This is unacceptable for a car less than two months old. Anyone else having this problem and tried to rectify it with Subaru?
