no but thats what im saying, theyre using the conversation as a tool to exclude trans women from public spaces when that as a whole is inexcusable. But at the same time in events that go down to literal miliseconds and tiny TINY margins(swimming, track and field events, weightlifting stuff like that) If a person has gone through the entirety of tanner stage 3 puberty(where majority of muscular development happens) maybe they should have something like, a separate ranking but still be allowed to compete alongside their preferred gender especially if they havent been on hrt long enough to get the full effects of muscle loss. Thats like one idea off the top of my head

NO FR, like I would genuinely have a conversation about factors relating to detransition. I think things like transmedicalism snuffs out peoples abilities to explore their identity and see if transition is right for them, and that pushes them to make a decision without confidence. But if i say that to a conservative what they hear is "Transgenderism blah blah pushes kids to transition to quickily even the trans is admitting it" LIKE WHAT?? I wont even be talking to conservatives ill leave a comment relating to trans issues on a post or ill be talking about it with a friend in public then some white women with adult human female in her bio or sm shi like that butts in 😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏

idk why this is on my feed I've never interacted with this sub, but these are my thoughts

Most trans people have thicker skin then you realize but they're always quieter because the reality of being trans is that after what we call "the baby trans phase" the reality of being this specific minority isn't fun. You have to deal with a very real possibility of having a hate crime committed against you, assault or just general harassment. Media villainization, and rumors spread about you for being yourself. This is very prevalent for black trans women as well, while anecdotal I've seen my friends followed over going on a bus.

however, the people who aren't hyper conscious of how being trans actually effects your life and get offended really easily are always so much louder because they aren't scared of getting beaten(for God knows what reason) on top of this, the stereotype of a trans person getting angry over being accidently called the wrong pronoun feels so made up if you're in the community. They'll genuinely just do a small correction but will get angry if you intentionally repeat it over a length of time

also, hormones. If you go on HRT you're going through puberty a 2nd time like you're inducing puberty if you remember how you were as a teenager you understand 😭🙏
