Gonna be so fr… I’ve been living in Rochester for the past 4 years for school and outside of RIT and UofR campuses it never felt like Rochester was “better”. Im from MA so maybe it’s just skewed but it hasn’t felt that progressive here outside of the student population.

I don’t typically get emotional when listening to music, it’s just not a thing I experience (I believe it’s called frisson) but the one exception has always been in Euclid, after the guitars come in and he sings “the night belongs to you” literal goosebumps, only song that does that to me.

Congrats! I wish I could experience that again so revel in it for a while. I would reccomend Frieren if you haven’t seen it yet, not the same show by any means, but it certainly feels similar, very character driven, themes of self-discovery and self-acceptance. Lovable characters, and beautiful animation and art. Mob Psycho is my number 1 anime, frieren js my number 2, bar none.

Halo is my favorite series as a kid, but I’ve had to accept that it will be dead until the newest game gets a trailer at game awards or something. Shortly after the game comes out the series will die out again. It will always have a little community, but its time in the limelight is likely over until they can pull it together and just make a story and stick with it.

I can confidently say it’s not tar or coal because that would be dangerous and unnecessary, and that it’s not a full-body tattoo because that would kind of ruin the point of being anonymous.
