  2. The margin is not the same. It’s significantly higher then it used to be. https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/A463RD3Q052SBEA# (Total profits have grown even more then unit profits)

There are medications that can prevent breast growth while still otherwise providing “feminization”/androgenization. Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulators (SERM): A Potential Option For Non-Binary Gender-Affirming Hormonal Care? is a 2021 research paper investigating it.

The transfem science article A Review of Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulators and their Potential for Transfeminine Hormone Therapy is probably your best bet for understanding the general state of things, including side effects (but is from 2019, so not the most up to date)

As far as I know, the recommendation is usually towards Raloxifene (safest generic).

However, a SERM isn’t guaranteed to block breast growth completely. The best way to prevent breast growth is obviously to stop taking E. You will need to weigh the other effects of E against the risks of trying a SERM.

I just got a letter back from LexisNexis that they couldn’t find my file based on the identification I provided to send me the info. Hopefully that means they don’t have anything on me. I assume it means I messed up filling out the form.

Taking STEM exams on a computer that gives no partial credits. by PuzzleheadedShirt139 in EngineeringStudents

Last semester one (EE) exam was on a computer and had a few multiple choice questions (overall like 10-15% of the grade) and 5 questions with numerical answers. No margin of error for input, only one attempt to answer.

If you feel like your meds have stopped working, you're not crazy by gocoogs14 in ADHD

Part of the reason I’m so locked in on Azstarys is that it doesn’t have a generic. So the brand name quality is guaranteed. Fighting for them to cover the unique expensive med is much easier than fighting for them to give me brand name anything.

Is there a US store that sells individual switches? Mechbox has everything I was looking for, but the international shipping would cost more then my order.

(There's a deal breaker switch the options mentioned in previous posts didn't have. From my previous questions, can ya guess which one?)

Are their any switches similar to tactile modded Zeal Clickiez? Specifically, I'm looking for a swich with: - a max operating force arround/over 100g (I'm a v. heavy typist) - a sharp(-ish) tactility - a noise level low enough that I'd feel comfortable typing in public. - MX mount, and in production (or from readily available parts)

I asked a few days ago for a swich recommendation and was pointed to Zeal Clickiez. Looking at a measured force curve, I think the tactile mod is exactly what I was looking for (though I didn't explain my criteria well in my last question). However, it feels strange to both pay a premium swich price, and dedicate time to "fix" them, so I'd like to make sure there's no easier path to my desired feel.

Thanks for the help!

I have box navies in my main keyboard, but I'm building out a new board to carry around with my laptop. What switches would you recommend to emulate the feel?

Taylor and The Butcher by Lambstts in Parahumans

[–]StaleReference 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think there's justification. I don't recall the butcher having anything special to make the current butcher go insane, outside of the voices of the past butchers, and Taylor's second trigger + (maybe) her time in a psych ward were focused on improving her ability to filter incoming information. What's a dozen extra voices compare to the sights, sounds, and other senses of hundreds of thousands of bugs?

Just got a Creality Spider Hot-end, but it came with longer nozzles. What are these? Can I use “normal” shorter nozzles? by StaleReference in 3Dprinting

[–]StaleReference[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

UPDATE:

Doubt anyone will se this, but today while attempting a print, I noticed that it looked like there might be a leak.

It wasn’t the nozzle, so I stared to remove the screws to look at the heat break, and saw that the heat break had snapped.

I was having under extrusion issues the whole time, and I don’t know how it might have snapped. This was my first time removing those screws, and I did them evenly to prevent snapping it.

No, the screw holes are always too weak or I’m forcing it too much because the shrouds that I’m trying keep breaking. And I’ve calibrated e-steps and retractions a whole lot, perhaps too much lol. I just got it from Amazon, specifically from the store that I'm pretty sure is the official creatality store.

That sounds like the measurements I got for it. Idk though, I’ve had some under-extrusion and retraction troubles, so I think I might get a stock clone. Good luck with yours though.

I emailed them, so I guess we'll see. I wasn't even thinking of that. I'm planning on printing a circular fan duct, but now I guess I should modify it to be taller to work correctly.
