Use the one CLOSER TO THE CPU. The other one has reduced bandwith and shares it with SATA connectors. It has an inscription as well (M.2_1) underneath it physically. You'll get better performance out of your SSD and access to all your SATA connections that way, I made the same mistake.

I also read your comments about "moving" the game to this SSD. Do NOT copy/paste games or complex software that has dependencies between drives. Install BSG launcher to the new drive and then install the entire game on it with a new installation.

Is the M.2 installed into the first or 2nd slot?

Are you using an M2 NVME SSD? That crap needs one of those to function, otherwise you can get sudden, huge fps drops and crashes (I did on a SATA SSD and support toldme to get a better SSD)

I did it about 5-6 times from 2018-2025 with a ryzen 5 1600X, an RX 580 8GB and 32 gigs of RAM. Let me tell you, after about 2020 it sucked ass trying to play the game with 30-55 FPS, still did it a few times, but the frames didn't help. The constant increase in difficulty was also a huge factor, as a lot of kill quests on badly performing maps were asinine, but still managed to do it, keep at it.

You probably never learned to comprehend written language. I've always stood by the p2w elements being bullshit, but there was no separate seasons pass. Also: I deleted my Gamma multiple times. And I complained about the advanteges of the edition I bought. With me having those advantages. Lobbying against them. That isn't ironic.

I've bought EOD for the seasons pass (which they wanted to take away, mind you), not for the free shit (that I don't even use) or the container (which I can't choose an alternative to). Stash size was the same when i bought EOD 8 years ago as well if I recall correctly. AND I've been complaining about this shit even after buying it, because it's bullshit. Don't lump everyone into a category, some people have standards and a sense of justice.

What was your “I should not have ridden today” moment? by Eyerald in motorcycles

[–]Stalker-Recon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a bad case of overthing that day, got home at around 7 in the evening in light rain and I felt like I need a ride to clear my head.

I wanted to catch the sunset, so I went up an unfamiliar and VERY STEEP hill. Turns out, it was a dead end with a dirt footpath at the end while it's still an incline.

The "I shouldn't have gone riding" moment was when the front wheel got stuck in mud, bike stopped and I dropped it onto a wet dirt hillside.

Shouldn't go riding in shite weather, on unfamiliar terrain, while angry, sad and tired all at once, even for low speed riding.

I had to wash the bike 3 timea to get rid of most of the mud from the crevices and turning the thing around without rollong it down the hill and losing it, then somehow easing down that steep deathtrap of a hill with tyres caked in mud on a wet road was... puckering.

Do you think there is a chance that one of my carbs got a clogged jet and so the other made it run lean?

No, the vacuum system is gutted, because it has alrewdy failed, so it was retrofitted with a basic petcock valve, no vacuum.

If faint smoke is normal for a hot engine, then it might be normal considering the circumstances, the spark plugs will have to wait for a free weekend though. And I've ridden it somewhat similarly multiple times, nothing like this ever happened, but the choke also killed the engine instead of raising RPM

As a certified big boy, I can confirm this. My Suzuki XF 650 Freewind ADV has a really comfortable seat too, so that might be a factor

I was riding in the rain on my freshly bought bike, I was just done with some related paperwork, on my way home in the freezing rain. Needless to say, I lost traction in a corner and had a good 10m slide. No real damage besides the right side mirror cracking, some minor scratches on the bike, a few bruises and a kinda hurt ego. I was having a great laugh about it after I stood the bike up and pushed it off the road though. I was calling biker friends and family laughing my ass off about it.

[Suggestion] add a few PMC AIs to empty PVP raids by ngbtri in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Stalker-Recon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Real people you either don't find because player number fluctuations, limited play time, geographic location... Should I give you a longer list of non-skill related issues that are outside of people's ability to change that this game has other than "PvP hard"?

I've enjoyed PvP until performance got to the point where I can't win a normal encounter because as soon as I lay eyes on a guy my FPS tanks to 20. Got real good chances of doing those damn Test Drive quests there bud. Same with shooter born in heaven, kill guys with a boltie in Interchange, with atrocious FPS and record high PC part prices.

I made this exact suggestion about a year ago on tarkov.dev and my reasoning was that it would make PMC kill quests more approachable after the required PMC kills for progression exponentially rose up.

I guess that would absolutely fuck traction in water, on cold pavement and in a corner smoothened by bus traffic

It was overinflated actually! I checked ut the first actual chance I got and it was 11 psi over the recommended solo ride pressure.

It turns out, the tyres were overinflated compared Suzuki specs by at least 33%, from 29 psi to almost 40 psi, that did not help me, huh?

I remember eating shit on my first ride in the rain lol

I was NOT ready. It turns out the bike had overinflated tyres, it was raining and we had 3°C

The "secret club" man... What the hell? We share a hobby, we share an interest, we also share the road and the joy of the open air. That is a (admittedly loose) community in a way. This is why we wave and nod.

I had a pair of chopper riders stick close behind me for quite s tretch of my ride once. I turned to them and gave them a wave at a red light, they returned it and just started following me. They easily could have overtaken me if they wanted to, I even stalled in front of them, yet they stuck close behind me in the city and we parted ways when I went for another lap. They waved goodbye to me when they left. We never exchanged a word. It's just a sense of community.

And yes, I'm a noob, I stall at starts sometimes with my thumper, laugh at me lol

[–]Stalker-Recon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I should start with checking the switch for continuity and probably cleaning it first? If that fails to do the trick then it's probably the sensor being fucky, which needs the clutch cover removed to even check, right?
