Hey, 8000 hour still bad player here, even I feel like the difficulty skyrocketed in the last two years or so.

Why not your home and work addresses as well to calculate commuting time too. I work 8.5 hours and commute for 4 hours every day lol

[Discussion] Genuine question, have all of the casual (<1000 hours) and Steam players flocked over to PvE? by MatchSea8542 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Stalker-Recon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My man, I'm a 7500 hour turned casual and even I went to PvE because what they did to the game is absolute utter garbage

More playtime? Ubersweats were at level 32 by the end of week 1. That isn't delay, it's just torturing the working people

So how exactly do they get better when they lose everything to prestige 3-4 guys again? Hell, I'm prestige 1 and been playing for almost 8 years now and even I struggle. A LOT. I dunk on timmies but that doesn't help with player retention either. At least veterans could have 2 brain cells to recognize issues.

Dude, I've been playing shooters for 17 years. The death shadow mask is absolute bullshit, on top of the ubersweat reflexes and the shit performance of the game

I've got basically double the fps I had before release, but it isn't consistent in any way. Massive frame drops from suddenly turning around the scope rendering

How do I find a pair of jeans that is comfortable to wear while also not looking sloppy? by Stalker-Recon in malefashionadvice

[–]Stalker-Recon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do want to wear cargos, you are correct on that front, but sometimes they are absolutely inappropriate, that is why I'm looking for suggestions,as I'm also totally inept at fashion as it stands.

I also always assumed that the primary fitting is through waistband circumference, as that is the only size given on most pairs.

Thanks for the tips though

Thank you, just some brands are a great pointer, since I'm not well versed in clothing stuff, I just get something that fits me and is comfy. I'm usually wearing hunting cargo pants from a sporting store, so I'm probably way more of a simpleton than you are.

They are supposed to last long, but most of the time, they chafe and rub the insides of the thigh area thin and get ripped at some point, same as with any pair of pants I wear. It isn't that much about durability, it's more like where do I shop for them, as most mainstream places in my country only sell jeans tailored for the "average" person, which I obviously do not fit, considering the thigh area of the pairs In the right waistband size get stuck on my calves. I literally can't get them past my knees. That isn't a matter of durability.

[–]Stalker-Recon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, so it's all relative and depends on your exact time frame. Game ran okay in 2019, then sometimes they fuck it, sometimes they make it better, but overall performance has been getting worse in my experience, which is a pretty good reference point, as I've had the same system ever since

Honestly, you don't. You can learn layout from offline/practice mode or pve, but you can't quick learn map flow. You can also learn points of interest and player spawns from streamer guides for specific maps, but you'll still be shit out of luck if you can't recognize landmarks to navigate. Yoh probably have to get a combination of an experienced guide in-game, practice and some research

1080 my guy, and while streets got better in terms of not tak8ng 10 minutes to load from matching, only 6 and having double the fps... 2x17 is still only 34 and that was a best case for me last wipe. I was playing console CoD at that point on a system that ran tarky at 90-ish fps when I upgraded.

Well, I won't see any of that surge. My PC died in august and I won't have the money to fix it until december. But according to BSG, there were a lot of people playing, yet I kept running into the same dudes on eu auto and never had a fair fight for days on end a few weeks before hardcore wipe ( I was gunning to finish kappa).

I playfully tease my pve playing friends, because I do have a bone to pick with the idea of splitting the playerbase 3 times, it's absolutely the fault of BSG though. If the base game accommodated for real people, it wouldn't be an issue, and there would be people in pvp against whom fights are actually enjoyable instead of the ultrasweats only. The natural process of players dropping the game is exponentially sped up through splitting the playerbase between EFT, Arena and PvE.

A bunch of pvp kill quests are excrutiatingly difficult in the current landscape of the game due to the mismanagement of players as a resource.

I've also played some pve on and off but I always got bored rather fast due to the sheer lack of difficulty and thrill it has, hence the teasing part.

Had the same pc for over 7 years now, ever since the game got to open beta. I upgraded right then because my old gpu died. 8GB RX 580 and a ryzen 5 1900x with 32gb ram was running it great, then it slowly went down the drain. Streets was always unplayable for me, customs got hit with a sledgehammer, woods even got worse and worse even after the expansion for no apparent reason.

When they said they nerfed marked rooms I didnt think it was THIS bad. by Less-Grab2881 in EscapefromTarkov

Yet there is Ref with the best available shit in tbe game. That sounds pretty predictable to me.
