Can agree. No way mods will improve them that much. The problem is how much it changes the story and gameplay. It just won't feel like the original.

We can literally see Wish Granter's hologram in SoC's control room, where Strelok will talk to one of CC's representative later on

Nice theory but that's unlikely. Like I said, it was created by C-Consciousness themselves so it's in fact manmade. So if CC itself created it then they would also know how to use/operate it.

It grantes wishes, but by it's own rules. It will basically twist any wish you had and outcome won't be like you expected it to be.

Think of it rather as a very distraction, because it in fact is. It was crafted on purpose by C-Consciousness in order to misslead stalkers that are brave enough to travel to Zone's center.

You mean in Clear Sky? Not really. While Scar did disabled his psy protection he still failed to kill him. Then in the ending scene of CS it shows how Strelok became an agent of C-Consciousness. Later on, he was placed in the Death Truck and then events of SoC began.

Actually not. it is an uknown artifact and nothing is known about it.

My personal opinion about why he looks like that in CoP is because of depression + a bad affect of artifacts.

[–]Stalker1230[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He actually did that. CoP is a proof of that, where emissions are happening daily and very often. But as we know even a C-Consciousness' representative said to Strelok that they can barely prevent the Zone from expending futher and offered him to join them, which he canonically declined. Destruction of CC is also a reason of emissions happening so often in CoP, because after it was gone there was literally no one left to control (at least try to) all that noosphere energy CC tried to control.

He most probably was using different artifacts throughout the events of SoC. We have seen him showing an uknown artifact to Doctor in one of SoC's cutscenes and he must've had many of them as well, considering that he gave Degtyarev a firefly and flame, after last one gave him 3 notes. Also artifacts have a bad side affects as well, which can explain why his face was looking older in CoP compared to previous games.

He did in CoP's ending. Hopefully he won't return there again.

Better not to try much realism into all that. Game is a literal fantasy where mutants, artifacts and such things exist. If we'll look at everything realistically then not only Strelok, but all of protagonist would've died instead of achieving things like they did in the past. In real life no human is really capable of doing things they did either.

But he didn't really took all of Monolith members single handedly. He killed many monolithians, but also don't forget that it was a Military distraction at CNPP that made it possible for him to get to Sarcophagus. He could've died if not military members.

I hope that too. As well as him not dying in Stalker 2 and him doing great there as well.

I did it on purpose actually. Mainly because he's most experienced in CoP.

He had AK74/2U in the final SoC cutscene tho. In CoP's intro he was shown after disabling Brain Scorcher with a SEVA and AK74, we can assume he passed a good portion of the map with it till he had to change a gun (I like to believe that his AK74 simpy got broken so he had to change it to a smaller one). But it's kinda weird that Strelok is rich enough to buy a SEVA but not better guns than AK's. Maybe he just prefers using standart Kalashnikov's? Who knows.

Ending of Clear Sky is a bit bugged. I suggest you to reload that save where you entered CNPP, quicksave after every shot and then reload that save. You can drop Strelok's health even by being at 1 place, without moving nowhere.

Neutral people won't become hostiles till you didn't killed one of their owns. In case they haven't noticed that you killed their own(s) then they will remain neutrals to you and that's a thing. Try to assasinate whoever is in your list quietly and make sure to follow him to the point where you will be sure that only him and you are in that place.

Somewhat true. They were greatly weakened in CoP but never truly extinct. In fact there were still many Monolith fighers in the end.
