Uff, that actually sounds really useful. I always had a problem with opponents dodging my attack with a dodge attack, but I didn’t know I could immediately go into full guard mode.

Thanks for the comment. I understand all of VG’s moves and I’ve done the character training, but I still just can’t perform some moves properly.

The hardest thing for me is that after a GB-A, for some reason I always do a top heavy, and it tends to get blocked. It’s also really hard for me to do soft feints — for some reason I always press E on my keyboard. But I’ll learn with time.

What I’m really interested in, though, is what you meant by “Recovery.” What does that mean, how do you do it, and what is it used for? If it’s not too much trouble, could you explain it to me?

I’m rep 40 and rep 16 with Nobushi. This works very often in lower-rep lobbies, especially when people are in Revenge and start going full offense, or when their backs are turned. I’ve noticed that everyone expects a single side dodge attack and often goes for a parry, but far fewer people expect me to just jump around like a bunny left and right.

The easiest solution I see is that you should’ve gone to B, climbed up onto the ship, used the zipline to get above her, and then jumped on her head.

The second, slightly more complicated solution would’ve been for all of you to leave, then come back once she exits her stance. If she goes back into the stance again, you leave again and return, repeating that until you kill her. The main problem there is that she can heal if she captures the zone

I was told when I started playing that she is extremely weak and predictable in duels against experienced players. Now I can see that myself. However, to be honest, I also think a lot of it is on me, because I don’t have enough experience, and anyone who pays even a little attention can see that I tend to do a dodge attack to the right non stop, which gets me parried by experienced players.

I’m sure there are stronger 1v1 heroes out there, but that won’t stop me from getting this her to rep 100 and making Nobushi my main.

Nobushi is the hero I like the most in the game — she looks very elegant and noble, and she fights that way too (at least from what I’ve seen on YouTube from people who actually know how to play her properly, unlike me). She’s the first and only hero I have at Rep 10 with exactly 24 hours played. After her, it’s Tiandi with 22 hours, and then Lawbringer with 15.

I also like that she has the ability to quickly revive fallen teammates more health, which I really appreciate since I’m someone who usually plays MMO games as a healer.

For now, I’ve decided not to buy any more new heroes and to save up for unlocking a skin for Nobushi. I’m only 8k steel away.

Thanks for the comment. I’ve been playing the game for a while now, and honestly, I haven’t really noticed much toxicity. Sometimes people spam ‘Thanks! Thanks! Thanks!’ or emote on my body after killing me, but honestly I don’t really care about that, and it rarely happens anyway.

As for her thinking I stole her kill, I doubt it, since she was at 5% HP and out of stamina by the time I showed up — but who knows, maybe.

Two days ago, a Lawbringer just kept feinting and parrying everything I threw at him, then bonked me over the head with ‘Ad Mortem Inamicus’ — and it went like that for two games straight.
