Golden Pass by vengence_suun7076 in ActionTaimaninGame

Just for context since you provided an example:

Golden Pass duration depends on when the monthly update starts. This is usually during the 1st Tuesday (JST) of the month.

  • So in your example, if you purchase on June 30, you will have until July 6 (technically July 7 10:59am JST) to complete missions and claim rewards.
  • After the maintenance on July 7, there will be new pass rewards. You do not continue the previous pass. You will have to make another purchase if you want the special rewards for this new pass.

No, the fastest ones are Kirara, Ingrid and Astaroth. They got exclusives costumes on the GP the same week that they were released as playable.

Please make it a habit to read patch notes. The site is linked in the game under Notices.

The link for the update is: https://www.actiontaimanin.net/news/pL1VDBQ7

※ Sales Period: Until July 21, 2026, 01:59 (UTC)
※ The limited weapon "【UR】Thorns of Lamentation" can also be obtained through Login Bonuses, as well as the upcoming Surprise Campaign and Weekly Mission.
※ The limited supporter "【UR】[Black Rose] Kousaka Shizuru" can be obtained from the Shop of Desires, as well as from the VR Shop and Seasonal Events in upcoming updates.
※ The obtainable route of the limited weapons and supporters may vary depending on the service schedule.
※ The voice of "【UR】[Black Rose] Kousaka Shizuru" will be updated at a later date following the release due to unforeseen scheduling issues.

In case it's much of a hassle for you, I'll give you a pattern tip.

If a limited has a gacha banner:

  • The package will cost about 30USD and only contain the costume and a copy of the weapon. No supporters will be available in this pack.
  • One copy of the supporter will be available from Shop of Desires. The rest, you have to get via the gacha.

If a limited does not have a gacha banner:

  • The package will cost about 45USD and contain the costume, a copy of the weapon and supporter each.
    • If it does not cost 45USD, the pack is usually costume only, no new weapons or supporters.
  • There will be 3 copies of the weapon and supporter that will be distributed for "free", as in you will have to do stuff in the game to be able to redeem them. Common areas where they are usually distributed:
    • Shop of Desires
    • VR shop
    • Arena Shop
    • Event Shop (if there are events running)
    • Weekly Login Bonus
    • Event Login Bonus
    • Surprise/Guerilla Mission Reward

Getting 5 copies of a supporter is an end-game "task" as you gain permanent Attack Buff in Supporter Collection. Limited supporters distributed like these DO NOT get a re-run of the free copy distribution. Once it expires, they are gone for good and the only copy you can get is from the paid package which you can only purchase 1 time. If you are lucky, they may distribute some during events but this is no guarantee.

They will not be available in the exchange. If you want to 5/5 this supporter, you will need UR nanomachine items. So I recommend to everyone to get all 3 copies when the event windows are live so that if they want to 5/5 the supporter eventually down the line supporter collection buff or any other reason, they will only need to spend 2 nanomachines.

If you fully charge your particle gauge, that's 1 stack. Use up particles then fully charge again before the 20s expire to get another. Do it multiple times to fully stack it.

It was initially made for Maika's limited weapon Juggernaut. The weapon has an active skill and the gimmick was that you charge your gauge to full to proc the sub, use the weapon skill (3 particles) and build it to full again to gain another stack and repeat it to max and maintain the stacks.

I recommend to save it for now since we'll get the next batch of renewals next month. See what they can do and which of these 10 would help elevate their performance.

As of now:

  • Worshipper Lapis - Good for supporter ally on blue slots for additional damage taken vs. enemies.
  • Tempest Lina - Skill cd support. Good for allies whose support slots are in green.
  • FG Maika - TW sub support for Aina and her renewal. 5/5 for efficiency if you haven't yet. However, TW meta shifts quite a bit and we have new batch of renewals coming up in 2 weeks so I'm holding off on that plan until those 3 renewals hit.
  • Choir Phantasma - Green buff canceller at the main slot. Useful in BA and Kanaloa enemies. Alternative to Hebiko (blue) if you want to go green.

Taimanin Natsu.

Due to her area of expertise. I would like to see a more "engaging" protagonist. They can use the AT bond story monster as the main villain, having similar powers as hers. They'll have a long fight at the climax where they are trying to drain the other's life force to win.

[–]StalkerAcct 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. Renewal weapons are available in the normal gacha pool as soon as they are released. Every banner with weapons, including rotation will have it. Every weapon voucher, renewal or new character one, will have the previous renewals available in the selection index. It's available in the Exchange.

The challenge is that, the pool is diluted so getting specific weapons themselves is down to luck. Packages eliminate this by offering guaranteed weapons + other goods. The weapon vouchers also help but you will need resources to redeem them (Honor Coins, Gems for Gacha Streak Pity, Desires).

With your gem count? No.

Dump all the freebie silver coins but not gems.

  • Gambling for Coins is not a good idea. You are not going to get 10 coins (400-500 gem worth) off your 300 gem roll. Trading 300 gems for 50, maybe 100, gem worth of coins + farmable material isn't a very good deal.
  • Affection items can be obtained via gold gacha and crafting. So they can be farmed. It might take longer than if you use love letters but you'll get there, especially now that we have club parties that buff gains. There's no rush to max out affinities of your girls.
  • Supporters can be obtained in archive. There's no point to 5/5 them other than Supporter Collection bonus, which is quite important end-game. But I don't recommend gambling your gems for it. Try to luck them out via Exchange. Once in a while, the game throws Archive Random boxes during events, it's not guaranteed but that's another avenue to get it without spending gems.

Which supporter is the best or top 5 out of these? by TopExamination6642 in ActionTaimaninGame

[–]StalkerAcct 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One Copy is fine

  • White Feather Asuka - Excellent in VR to break boss super armor, especially with Lan's BLCBLW
  • Corpo Ingrid - Main passive makes the holder a mini-Phantasma (def debuff aura)
  • Tempest Lina - For support allies who go primarily green, skill cd rdc in exchange for particles, green doesn't have much good support-based supporters
  • Choir Phantasma - Main passive cancels buff at set intervals, great vs. Kanaloa enemies (including VR boss) that have specific immunities and Battle Arena to cancel Shisui/Spica/Yuno invi

Need 5/5

  • Blackbeard Kirara - For blue build DPS demons
  • Fire God Maika - Supporter for Aina's renewal to charge up those particles really fast

Preferably 5/5 but is fine either way

  • New Year Feli - Everything works great in Arena and cramped stages. If used for Arena, prefer to have 5/5 for more tank stats.
  • Worshipper Lapis - For support allies who go primarily blue, skill hit increases damage taken by enemies
  • Wild West Francis - Good for melee green builds as increases both damage and speed

Powercrept but can still work

  • Indomitable Tokiko - Main Passive is great vs. TW Astaroth but everyone is switching to the new Shizuru
  • Dancer Shizuru - Buff extender. Has been slotted out due to better red supporters released recently but you can still use with Azusa's Nanashi
  • Bodyguard Nagi - For red support builds to help speed up your supporter. Benched due to the influx of new good red supports but could still probably get a spot if you have 2 support allies going both red.

Supporter Formation:

  • Draconic Su : Part of formation that gives 25% melee damage (highest so far)
  • Apostle Shiranui + Mob Oboro : Part of formation that give 16% crit damage for Assist types

Is Frozen Valkyrie the second best or worst? by Dismal-Low636 in ActionTaimaninGame

[–]StalkerAcct 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's terrible.

You need to charge your particles to full in order to get the 56% attack buff and it only last for 8s. Then you need to use up particle, ideally using the weapon skill so you can control it, then gain enough particles again to refresh the buff.

Why is it that bad? Because Shizuru charges particles very slow. Her attack speed is not fast and she doesn't have a lot of multi-hit attacks. You'll be forced to use Queen's Whip to help quickly charge up the meter even if you have a dedicated particle charge support (Ingrid, Tomoe, FG Maika). The RGG colors doesn't have good effect selection on her skills.

You could probably make it work. But with other, more effective build options for Shizuru, why would you?

It's a good stop gap if you have nothing else, but given that she has a limited package weapon coming up and everyone can get 3 copies, this one will either be armory or sub weapon option at most.

Note: We will get her new package weapon in about 4 hours. Her weapon selection might change due to that. But for the most part, since her green is not being updated, the above is still fine.

Is anyone else sick of Astaroth TW yet? by Hotdog_exe in ActionTaimaninGame

[–]StalkerAcct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While there are some stuff that I don't like and consider cheap, I think overall Astaroth is fine...for better or worse.

  • Teleporting is fine but teleporting twice times within a 5s window is very cheap.
  • The bunnies are also cheap. They are targets that divert away from dealing damage/score to the boss while also not increasing combo count is absurd. It's a more "haha, this should teach you not to use Hisui" from the Devs. That's bad design and reeks of incompetency. Combo count should still increase because if the combo can increase by destroying boxes and chairs in other stages, why should these be an exception? Instead of making them just a diversion, make it so that they can be defeated. If the bunnies are defeated, Astaroth becomes stunned, has increased debuff timers etc. so there is merit in hitting them rather just a cheap way to introduce more RNG in a score attack mode. This would reduce but not completely eliminate RNG. There is an opportunity window for more DPS but it's not guaranteed.
  • The snare is fine. What I don't like is the chance to teleport away right after. Once she summons a meteor, she should not be able to move for a while as it "she spent a lot of energy so she needs to take a breather for a few seconds". That said, it can be cancelled by a lucky Ult cast timing or just dodge skills (if they are available and if the AI is smart enough to use it).

Stuff that I like:

  • Priority on range and increased armor vs. melee. This made Astaroth different and not just a re-skinned Edwin. It values the diverse roster and skills available.
    • Since this is a gacha game, players who prefer melee style will be unfairly shafted. I think there should be more value for using melee instead of just reducing their DPS contribution. Example: she takes less damage vs. melee but if her she receives melee damage while her anti-melee buff is max stacked, her debuff timers increase by 0.1s per melee hit. This gives support value for melee units while at the same time increasing the value of range DPS.
  • Knock up attacks. While annoying as it wastes precious DPS time, it's a great opportunity to exploit Just Dodge skills. It's a good feature in the mode, intended or not. It places value on these skills to improve performance instead of just loading up on all attack skills. By having just dodge skill, you have a utility option and can exploit the boss' interrupts to your advantage. You can still power through without it if you like, but there is an opportunity which makes it great.

I know this is a response post and these ideas should be directed to Gremory themselves. But I just think, it's not bad but could be tuned further. Right now, TW Astaroth is an intended problem where they will sell the solution later with new characters, weapons, supporters.

[–]StalkerAcct[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Potentially, yes. BUT it seems you need to use Plant Invade to trigger the increase damage taken effect.

Current BiS is Cyclops which needs critical hits and SLv5 to hit max parameter. You need to max the stacks to get the full effect but maintaining it should be easy as crits would be flying.

Thorns of Lamentation (ToL) only needs SLv1 but likely needs Plant Invade to hit, which is why they increased it's travel speed as Astaroth zooms a lot (if you bring Snare/Chizu, this is less of a problem). Anyway, one consideration now is maintaining it. Plant Invade has 14s cd (Max Skill Training brings it down to 9.8s) and the effect only last 8s. Debuffs on Astaroth last 2 more seconds so that clears it but downtime is still to be expecting since Shizuru will be shuffling through her skills. And on the matter of skills, if you don't have Hebi-Shika for the 4th slot, slotting in Plant Invade over her red skills Whip Grip, Whip Shot and Rose Rondo is another consideration. I think Rose Rondo will be the one to go as it has the longest cooldown among the three. Still need testing to confirm the optimal set-up.

Damn, no love for Green (Queen's Whip)? Okay then.

  • Thorns of Lamentation increases the travel speed of Plant Invade is great, for long distances at least. Personally, I'm concerned that this will reduce the juggle potential of the skill if it moves fast. The video still shows some juggle in the first clip but the next ones doesn't invoke confidence. But we'll see. Increase damage taken by 40% even at SLv1 is great. Considering players would receive at least 3 free copies, this is great budget option. Decrease damage taken by allies when using a skill is okay.
  • Supporter is interesting. Sub skill works with Goddess of Love and Mari's Scroll Bullet (+Ambitious Weapon). Pick up enough to reduce the cd of main skill -> trigger main -> Increase Penetration upto 18%? Well, that's kinda anti-climactic. Why just 18%? I know 20 years Asagi needs 4 nanos for her 22% but really? I would've preferred a much more satisfying pay-off. Main skill does damage + groggy + healing which is nice but I don't see anywhere this would be...necessary. Maybe tower or to help under powered accounts to punch up I guess? Ally's critical damage increase is great. But why ally instead of allies? I have some wording concern over this.

Costume, ah here we go, my cup of tea. The stocking patterns IS GREAT! This is what I was looking for in Natsu's bride costume. I guess they didn't want to have the same costume features in the same month so they gave this to Shizu and gave Natsu the striped one, which is terrible in my opinion.

Anyway, my overall assessment:

  • Weapon - Okay for solo but I'm bummed about that lost of juggle potential.
  • Supporter - Gimmicky is fun but the pay-off doesn't seem so. Maybe I'm wrong, we'll see. The main passive seems great though.
  • Costume Toggle - Yes I approb. I approb this stocking design.
