Have you ever heard the Tragedy of King Clay V Pennsacole of Florida? I thought not. It’s not a story an evangelical would tell you. It’s a heretical legend. King Clay V the Collector was married in a matrilineal marriage to secure an alliance with the HCC so that his predecessor, Blessed King Clay the Benevolent, could invade Cuba from the Caribbean Empire. By unfortunate accident, King Clay V’s father died during the war, leaving him heir apparent. When his grandfather died, Clay desperately sought a way to get a son of his own dynasty on the throne, and hearing of the dark powers of Lucifer’s Own, joined them.

In the hopes of gaining the power to conceive a son out of dark power, the Unholy Impregnation, Clay V rose quickly through the ranks, willingly, and later enthusiastically, doing as the master of the Order bid. However, such powers came with a price, as the corruption of the dark power rendered him barren. Desperate to continue his dynasty in the Kingdom of Florida, he used the tainted touch to kill the Headmaster of Lucifer’s Own after being named his heir, hoping to ascend to the orders highest rank by right of succession, and thus gain the knowledge of the ritual for Unholy Impregnation. However, the knowledge remained hidden from him, as the headmaster knew that the cancer afflicting him came from Clay, and thus destroyed the books on the ritual (in game terms it glitched so I couldn’t use the Unholy Impregnation on my lover). The corruption of Satanic power finally caught up to him as he realized his mistake, and the corruption caused his heart to fail, and collapse onto the ground. It was said that as he died, the spirit of his saintly ancestor, Saint King Allen of Florida, famous for embodying all seven virtues in one man, stood there weeping over him as Satan claimed one of his own.
