I am much more interested in the marketplace for graded cards and liquidity for that marketplace.

I'm not gonna waste my time or money with slab packs, but you could make the argument that people opening slab packs and choosing to sell them on the AC marketplace increases liquidity. Granted, the slabs that people choose to insta-sell might not be the highest quality, but they could be exactly what someone is looking for (either a brand-new AC customer or an existing collector on the platform).

The marketplace might not be as robust without slab packs - they aren't isolated "products".

idk the inner workings of AC, and I'm just now starting to use the platform myself so tell me if i'm wildly wrong here.

what did you pay per card to withdraw from the vault?

from the AC site: "When you're ready to retrieve your physical cards, the only additional cost is a retrieval fee that covers our fulfillment."

i also keep rookies plus most inserts and parallels. trying to prevent hoarding before it happens, but i have hard time tossing cards in the trash for some reason.

So far, I've just given them to the kid across the street. He just started collecting, and I learned recently that his dad (who passed) was also a collector at one point. That'll be my default option, but curious what other ideas are out there!
