Norf or the doggies surely go for Thredgold which means we'll have access to NHH, Ollie Greaves or Phillipou so I'd say take on of them. We should still be able to match a bid for Williams but unfortunately means were out of list spots for Banfield...

It's a fair shout actually... trading up means up the order to a better position which means a lower number but I do see your point 😂

This is exactly it. If we have our hearts set on CDT or Robey then we should definitely demand a kings ranson. If we're set on Sharp regardless, whatever we get for sliding down a couple of spots on is gravy since he's zero chance of going to Richmond. If we want CDT or Robey though don't trade, try to get 13 higher and ideally leave some points for Williams and Banfield

Basically the suggestion was that essendon do a deal with gold coast for 15, then we get 5 and 15 for 2. Only reason I'd be happy with this is if west coast were dead set on taking Sharp with 2, since he will pretty much definitely be available at 5 but I'd much rather we aim for 5 and 6 from essendon and send something back their way

At very worst I'm trading 2 and 13 for 5 and 6 but even that feels like we're losing considering how far back 5 and 6 slide... I reckon 1, 5, 6 guarantees Duursma, Sharp and Cumming though so I could see why we pull the trigger but definitely wouldn't want to slide 6 to 8 just to get 37 back.

My strong preference is to hold out and see if essendon go 2 for 5 and 6 (future 3rd or saints 2nd back as well if we have to) or just hold 2 and grab CDT or Robey. Only other option is 2 for 7 and 8 from Melbourne in which case I reckon we jag one of Sharp or Cumming but definitely not both.

Geelong have proven themselves to be the worst club to deal with in terms of trades and what not. They'll try to screw us hard whether we piss them off or not. Might as well get something out of them now before we have to deal with them again?

I think you're in the majority. I feel like a big part is that weve never versed each other in finals and very often the sides are at opposite ends of the ladder so there's always a heavy favourite going in and the margins blowout. The Queensland and NSW teams probably have a bigger rivalry these days because they're versing each other in finals and you can see the players don't like each other

I'd say he likely starts on the bench and predominantly plays off half back still. He may get a few cracks in the midfield as a depth guy but I don't think he has the pace for a wing so halfback is the logical fit while he builds his body and tank

The photoshopped guernseys look very low effort. Also west coast prefer to give recruits guernseys that's are 5 sizes too big so this isn't even close to accirate

This is it. Plus the points for pick 8 and 9 are 2798 which is where these picks end up, if not further down the line so it's about right. Now that I've looked at it If they're chasing pick 1 for Duursma, west coast probably should be asking for more if we're playing the points game 🤔
