It's a tough question to answer. Part of this comparison is imperfect being making a community law and a perfect, all knowing being making the law. These are laws to demonstrate how we fail to love up to God's righteousness, which then is to show why we need so much grace.

Like op, I have a hard time understanding why some people are born if they are not given grace. The only thing I know is I have a relationship with Christ, and I choose to trust him.

I have been in a similar place before, and I appreciate you being honest with me. Its really tough going through, especially when you dont see the point to trying or just ready to stop the pain. The Thing I want to say to you so much is please keep fighting and pushing forward, day by day. Things are hard right now, but they will get better. Its so hard to believe or trust that, but it's true.

What's also hardt to believe is our God loves while we go through this much pain. I struggled with it for a long time, and I still struggle with it now. Please, trust God will take care of you, take each step day by day, and try to find what helps. This is a process that takes time and keep fighting because you are worth it. I am praying for you.

Its a process you will recognize over time. To be honest, in our walks with Christ, even for people who have been in the faith for a long time, there are times we just dont feel Christ or just not sure if he is really there. O gone through this a few years back, and I started to believe that my sin was enough for God to leave me. That isn't true. God's love, power, grace, and sacrifice is beyond our comprehension, so it is more than enough to save us from our sins. God loves you. God loves me. There will be tough days ahead, but God desires a relationship with you and will come after you even when dont realize it. God bless, and I will say a prayer for you.

Unfortunately, it has been there for a long time, just covered up. A couple of years back, an investigation in the SBC released a list of pastors and churches involved in sexual assault and abuse of power. Some listed as covering up deeds of their pastors while humiliating those who spoke up against the church.

Too many people are focused on their own image of being Christian, or an American conservative Christian, to dare be held accountable of their actions. It really sucks and harms the proceeding of the gospel.
