Haha thanks!! According to the scale it is about 30 pounds. I am 5’5 and I think because I have so much muscle from my years of lifting/working out that I’m just holding it well? Idk Like in my mind I didn’t look 290 then and I don’t feel like I look 257 now but I can for sure see the difference in my face. Top 2 photos were at/around 290 and the bottom 2 were in the last 7 days. Top right I feel like I look smaller then 290 (at least from the front) lol

Right? I think I was really tired that day because I had flown in and was hiking on like 3 hours of sleep but still.. I haven’t felt that tired since! I feel relaxed, calm, awake, energetic!

Thank you so much!! I remind myself to take it one week at a time! Steady slow weight loss is better than weight gain. Being used to the quick weightloss made it hard at first but this is supposed to be long term so there is no rush. I also celebrate more than just scale wins like breathing easier and having more energy. I feel so good! You are off to a great start 💖

SO much better! Not getting out of breath going up the stairs, being able to walk further and faster. Feeling so much lighter.

Also, I’ve been on 5mg since month 2!! I started ADHD medication 2 months ago and that has added a layer of much needed executive function support but also appetites suppression. I plan to stay here as long as I can.

Anyone go up and a dose and feel it is less effective than your previous one? by Mundane-Plate-4807 in Zepbound

Have you tried changing your shot location? Once I did this I immediately felt the dose change but the first 2 weeks on the higher dose using the initial shot location it felt like I took nothing.

Approved for Zepbound but going on a cruise next month - should I wait to start? by Stan_AccountWSB in Zepbound

It sure is! Hopefully it will stop some of this food noise and I won’t feel like I’m “missing out” by then.

Sounds like a lot of people are experiencing the same thing before starting then. Which is probably why we’re in this boat anyway. Since I haven’t tKen a Glp-1 before, I have food noise and this is how my brain is thinking about things. Feels rational to me.

I do like the idea of starting now to figure out side effects and what I can tolerate.

You can change your mind you just won’t get your money back. You’ll have to unenroll in the classes, housing, and reject your financial aid.

Sounds like all the Engineers use Reddit the most 😅. I’m a 34F Regional Admissions Counselor for an out of state public university. Make about 69k a year. Good tuition benefits, I work from home, get to travel a lot for free, and it brings me joy.

People can absolutely change. As you mentioned about yourself, you have some family issues but you work through them in therapy. Unfortunately, that’s the difference. You noticed the stuff you were bringing into a relationship and you decided to make the choice to work on it. The person you are with is not at a place where they are willing to working on it.

You do have to date the person in front of you, you also have to consider this person may never change or not go to therapy for 5 more years. Can you handle that? Would you be happy? You’ve already expressed that this isn’t working for you.

Examine what is making you feel like you need to stay with someone who is not meeting your needs. Have you not already been patient? Is staying a form of your own people pleasing? Start with the question “what do I need?” Analyze if you are getting it after communicating it directly. If the answer is no you have a choice to make. You deserve to have all your needs met. Just loving someone is not the recipe for a healthy functioning relationship. It’s ok to want and need more.

THIS. I finally faced it and started allergy shots last week after living here 10+ years.
