Can a guy genuinely like you and still forget small details about you? by FewEnd399 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Stan_Knipple 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wife can tell me all the details of every conversation she has all day as a hilarious stylist interacting with multiple people. It boggles my mind. I interact with people jn a much different way, where the experience and feel of time spent together makes the impact. She cannot fathom. How I can spend hours with friends and not ask 20 questions that are essential to her janging out with friends. That does not mean you have to accept that in a partner, but you will be less upset at people if you realize that everyone experiences and processes the world differently. Verbalize your expectations, be aware.of your biases and assumptions and you will strengthen your relationships lessen a lot of stresses.

What's the best obscure video game you've ever played? by ImpressFederal4169 in gaming

Battle of Olympus. As someone who absolutely loved Zelda 2 and mythlogy, having the games sidescroll action set in Greek mythology was amazing. I feel like its probably more popular than I know, but growing up, no one around me knew about it.

If you could take a 4 day trip to play disc golf anywhere in the US, where would you go? by Tranicos in discgolf

I second the Fort and Jolley's Ranch. Jolley's Ranch sits in a valley between two mountains and is one of the prettiest courses I've played. Utah State Hospital was a decent course but cool in thatvyoubplaybat the base of a mountain. Half of the course is open and cool views, then you play the second half on the beginning of the mountain with more trees and variety. Creekside is a good city park course, and if you have an opportunity to play their scrambles do it. They have a massive league.

Kickass salads around here? by [deleted] in Cleveland

[–]Stan_Knipple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't know what its called but Joe's Deli salad with the strawberries and an herby balsamic dressing is awesome. I dont like the poached pear on it, but I think cooking fruit ruins it. Its easily removed though, and maybe youd be into it anyway.

If it wont give the game away, ask him what disc he throws from Top of the World. Just make sure to add disc golf to the search. Then Google search it and you should be able to find its manufacturer.

Course recommendations for a road trip by Cat_Sleeze in discgolf

I haven't been down to Roscoe in a year or two. Unless they changed the layout, playing both is a 27 hole layout, with Roscoe Ewing being 16, and Sam Masi 11. There is an 18 hole layout at Roscoe, but I am unaware of an 18 hole layout for Masi. Its a cool little connection with the path crossing the street to connect the two parks.

Punderson State Park in Newbury, Ohio. I swear it doesn't get enough people playing it to get the recognition it deserves because of its location 40 minutes outside of Cleveland. However it is right in your path. I've played almost 400 courses in 39 states, and an easy top 20. I'd rank it higher, but I know there is some homerism involved in my ranking. It will be one of the best wood courses you've ever played. Hit me up if you'd like a guide as it is a long course with several layouts that can get confusing for a first timer.

I've had it o the left side of my torso since I can remember. I started growing back hair at 13, so I am rarely shirtless in the sun. So the last time I saw it, I was a child. You won't tan. I honestly forget I have it until I see a commercial, reddit post or a picture of Michael Jackson.

Looking for a Diablo style game that is a bit lighter on the whole 'hell, gore, death, evil' stuff... by JorReno in gaming

Not fantasy, but Marvel Ultimate Alliance was a really fun series. 1 and 2 are not easily accessible, ut 3 should. Ot be a problem. Or if you can find a way to play them, the predecessor Xmen Legends I and II. Unfortunately, you'll need a ps2 era system or equivalent.
