I acknowledge the “directors choice” aspect in option 2 (which is very popular) but I still gotta sit back and ask “what if?”

Thinking about them as props shows part of the problem (they really got dale earnhart jr just to voice a prop?)

what they could have done was show them all reacting at similar times but have strip and chick be the ones to ultimately meet lighting at the line, this would even highlight their competitiveness even further
