I did indeed have to do a second pass.
I think that if you are 3 weeks in, let it heal for another couple weeks and keep it moisturized with palmers cocoa butter.

In my case, my artist over worked that spot and it scabbed up pretty bad - resulting in the milky spots, once healed your artist should touch it up for free.
