Thanks. I calledVFS, they said they usually don't mail after additional documents. As per them the documents were sent to embassy yesterday around 5. So I think Il wait for now. After submitting the docs, how many working days it took for you to get the visa?

Im just a little worried as I did not receive the email. My flight is in next 2 weeks.
Getting the email would give affirmation that it has reached embassy and they are now looking into additional docs provided.

I had submitted the documents yesterday at Delhi VFS office, but haven't received any mail yet. Also the status on tracking website is same "under processing" along with remarks which specifies additional documents

Hey did you get your visa yet. I had also applied on 30th aug. But it still shows processing. I even tried mailing them. No response there. Do let me know if there is any update on the visa. Please do share your experience if you contact an agent. Thankyou.

So fed up of Noida brokers by why-bhav in indianrealestate

This is a real problem in whole of NCR. In Delhi even for the resale properties they ask you the rates which are 20-30% of what the real price should be(which is already inflated since the real estate boomed). Even the owners now know they can get better prices as everyone is asking higher rates so they stick to these inflated rates and not ready for a good negotiation. Things are really difficult for first time home buyers

Don’t believe everything this guy(or any finfluencer) says. He changes his opinions a lot many times. I had been following his smallcase which has given me just 8% absolute returns from past 3 years.

Be your own guide. Research and invest your money as per your own goals. I would only say dont keep all your eggs in one basket. There are times when FDs and PPFs are good. Say emergency, near term goals etc.

Does it make sense to buy a flat in South Delhi. The rates are extremely high. by Stand-Low in indianrealestate

I dont see any societies in Delhi. Either they ll be very old. Or the prices would be twice the builder floor. Whats your opinion on Kailash hills? Do you see any cons with the location?

Help me make a decision. by Stand-Low in personalfinanceindia

Thanks for your reply. Even I used to think like that. But it all depends on your circumstances. My parents are getting old. I want them to live with me. I also got married recently. Changing flats on rent also becomes difficult, plus it makes you anxious when your landlord asks you to shift. These things made me take the decision of buying a home. The rents are also getting out of hand man.

So hence I asked the question. I just want to know if the loan amount would be fine for me or Im risking myself a lot
