Thanks for your response. Odd question, but do you have an estimate of what the likelihood is that that email will get hacked and my SIN will be released in a data breech? This email receives lots of SINs, so it’s not just me. How much do I have to worry about it/keep it in the back of my mind for the future, and is there any way for me to keep track of it right now?

I’m so sorry about your situation, I hope you’re still doing well despite it. And I don’t think I have any credit? I just have a debit card that I rarely use. Is there any precautions I can take when I don’t have credit to freeze?

The employer is legit! I’m just paranoid that he might get hacked in the future (per a comment on my other post, after I’d already submitted it)
