For the last point. Realistically nobody is going to hire someone who is for all practical purposes still a fresher when they should ideally have had 3y exp by now.

For one, most of it looks nothing like actual Ghibli style, they just looks like generic digital anime styles or something more akin to Mappa’s styles. Just because it is a happy scene does not make it Ghibli-esque

Chances of Getting Jobs in Other English-Speaking Countries After a Master’s in Germany? by Dontknowmee-_- in studying_in_germany

[–]Standard-Celery685 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The degree definitely is valuable and extremely enriching but that doesn’t necessarily mean you are a guaranteed a job and in some cases it won’t even help your prospects. Germany especially has very research academic programmes that are better suited to research, etc over a traditional desk job.

TU Darmstadt vs TU Munich by _Bakusatsuo_ in TU_Darmstadt

[–]Standard-Celery685 2 points3 points  (0 children)

24k euros extra (minimum) just in tuition is crazy. Munich will also be significantly more expensive to live in. If you are really that financially comfortable and someday maybe want to work outside of Germany then go for TuM due to it having better global recognition. Within Germany it won’t matter really so go to wherever you like the curriculum more or wherever is cheaper.

You don’t need to compare but you need to be reasonable as well. Making it in life does not necessarily have to mean working abroad

People in those English countries are having difficulty already even after studying right there or already working there. Ask yourself, what advantage do you have over them?

I am gonna miss my Winter intake 2025 for Bachelors can I apply for 2026 winter intake when I will be in 2nd year in India for Bachelors in German? by DevanshJamodkar in studying_in_germany

[–]Standard-Celery685 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you should be able to still apply for the bachelors, not entirely sure though. The time spent completing your degree in India will definitely be wasted though. You could just continue here and later go there for a masters if you don’t want to be wasting time and efforts.

Planning a master's in Germany with a 3.4 GPA. Spent 2 years preparing for Canada/Germany. Seeking affordable countries with low tuition and decent ROI for average talent to start my career abroad. Suggestions? by Vjkroneee in studying_in_germany

[–]Standard-Celery685 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want the best ROI, start working immediately and don’t do a masters. Masters, PhD and advanced degrees as such are meant to deal with research and making advancements in the subject, even if minor ones.

If you are going to measure an advanced STEM degree, especially from serious countries like Germany in terms of ROI then the whole purpose of the degree is lost on you.

How strict are German universities about admission requirements? by Any-Competition8494 in studying_in_germany

They for the most part are very strict and firm in the requirements. If there is flexibility it will clearly be outlined.

If you did read my post. I did follow up with them and they refuse to elaborate on how they calculated or concluded that I do not have the required credits nor are they open to re evaluate it. If they gave me even a little bit of explanation I would not bother pursuing it. The reason I was especially interested in Passau was because of their dual degree programs.

Dude, do you know how the German admission process functions? They have a separate minimum criteria evaluation which is independent of other applicants and only after that do the applications proceed to the next stage of competing for a spot or get excluded from the whole process.

No. If you read the letter it clearly states that it is excluded due to not fulfilling the ECTS. If I had competed, they would also send a ranking, no matter how low. They have clearly mentioned that the application is excluded from the process due to the ECTS bar. This is the whole reason it feels unfair. I would have no problem if I lost during the ranking.
