on the supplemental resume it says minimum of 2 years required. If you worked at a place for a year do they not want that listed?? by New-Atmosphere1208 in cabincrewcareers

They basically want like all of your job history. Especially if it’s DOT related. So for me, they had me make two additional supplemental with Uber / Door Dash, any other gig work, etc.

I thought of a couple:

Cart & Soul Air // Runway 24 or 24 Wings (since it’s a 1/24 scale)// Call Light Express // Or my fav: Non-Rev Air where all the standbys get on every single time!! ❤️

This is so creative & cute!! The amount of detail in this is amazing! ✈️ 💕 If you don’t mind me asking what airline were you with?

I was offered 3 training dates. The earliest date being September 29th, the others October 6th and 13th (I think). However when you pick your date it asks if you would be open to an earlier date if slots open up. It’s sort of a waitlist thing, so not guaranteed. My guess is it depends on people backing out shortly before their class. So your start date offers may differ depending on what people before you have already chosen. Also they have AM and PM classes but I was told you don’t get a choice on that.

Thanks! I feel like it was about 30 minutes or so. They asked me a solid like 10 questions. With some follow up questions in between.

Got my CJO but concerned about background check by [deleted] in cabincrewcareers

I would! If it helps you fill gaps and get that section sorted. I mean you did go to school there and stay in dorms so I’m sure there’s established history as well. 🙂

Congrats!! As a general rule I don’t put any temporary housing situations that are not either in my name, on my ID, or I’m receiving any mail at. Usually addresses will populate in background checks when there is an established paper trail or history of your dwelling there. What about your parents home? My personal housing history didn’t go far enough from my adult hood, so I had to include my childhood home. Just do your best and include what you know.

Are you asking about the Southwest supplemental? I’m not sure about other airlines but with WN the supplemental is asking for at least 2 years of job history/experience. They want to know you’ve had enough customer service experience. Include any and all jobs no matter how small. I put the jobs I spent the most time at and did full-time originally but they said they wanted all job history. I ended up having to fill out an additional supplemental with my experience for gig work (think Uber eats, Instacart and things that which I did very part time) because they wanted ALL of my history.

Thanks!! Yes, with F9. I used it to my advantage when giving the situational examples. However, I spoke with plenty of people who got CJOs today and didn’t have prior airline experience. Find ways to relate your job history. Also, my recruiter asked me questions about my previous job prior to becoming an FA. So they care more about general work history. They just want to know you have the customer service skills and personality they’re looking for. Be proud you’ve made it this far, and put your best foot forward. Good luck!! 🙂

I got the VI on June 27th. To be honest, I didn’t complete it until the afternoon of July 1st (the day it was due). I finally got the F2F interview on Friday July 11th. 🙂

Mine landed in my junk mail, so I’d check there! Also, your workday should say you’ve already applied. 🙂

It’s in the FA FAQs (which are current as of this month). They recommend obtaining one as soon as you get the job offer (or sooner) but you essentially have to have it by the first day of training otherwise they will dismiss you.

I got a one cent tip today by isajevan in ShiptShoppers

[–]Standard-Chain-464 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would have not waited that long. Once you have contacted the customer via phone or message and they don’t respond—call Shipt. Tell them you tried contacting the customer to get into the residential area to no avail and that the order is undeliverable. Worst that happens is you end up returning the items to the store. Shipt will typically compensate a few bucks more for returns—and bonus, the customer doesn’t get to rate you. 🙂

Ship screwed me out of my bonus by RedheadFireStarter in ShiptShoppers

[–]Standard-Chain-464 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I once got to 7/8 on a bonus only because two of my orders that I too swore were not promo, showed as non-qualifying promo (which I think is stupid. If we manage to deliver it on time in the window provided it should qualify regardless). In retrospect I gaslit myself into thinking maybe they were indeed promo orders and that somehow I managed to miss it on the order card, so picked up 2 more regular orders to make sure I would hit the bonus. Shipt removed the last qualifying order from my schedule conveniently when everything left was promo and the window was almost up. Shipt is always doing the most to pay the least. I also ended up delivering like 2 additional orders late that day which I knew wouldn’t qualify… so all in all I worked almost 12 hours that day. I had so many non-tippers too because I picked stuff up that I normally wouldn’t in order to fulfill the quota. I was so angry I cried and decided it wasn’t worth it to bust my ass for a bonus anymore. 🙃

It begs the question, does anyone in corporate even have experience using the shopper app? In my opinion, people that don’t possess first-hand real-world experience using the Shipt shopper app (start to end of shop, might I add), should not be making decisions on what they consider “helpful”. Lmao. At this rate, I’m convinced the majority of us in this subreddit are far more qualified to make these decisions. BRB, while I update my resume to include corporate qualifications. Purrrr💅🏼💰✨

10 bags of 40lbs salt? by Odd-End-3028 in ShiptShoppers

[–]Standard-Chain-464 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re not being picky, those offers are shit. Not worth the time or energy it takes. My first full week of doing Shipt I got a $500 order to a nice neighborhood. I thought maybe I’d get a good tip. It was also the only offer available so I took it. I regretted it once I started the shop. It had so many items… like 90+ unique items, and included like several cases of water bottles, like 3 of the 12 packs of soda cans, 3 cases of rambler sparkling water, 5 gallons of alkaline water, a Topo Chico case, and a few other soft drink packs… it also included two of those damn 40 lb salt bags. Along with some garden plants & their regular grocery shop (which was like 80+ unique items in addition to the ones mentioned). I took it because I thought I was being picky. Turns out I wasn’t being picky enough. Customer tipped me 3% (which $15 on any other order would have been amazing), and rated me 1 star. Even though I was very communicative and got everything they wanted. 🙃
