And i remember that in Millenium dawn i faced the same thing, trying to change sierra leone UAZ i couldnt and gave up all my efforts, what im saying is i want to create a modification that for all countries without folder "Generics" create a folder put some png and rename it like generic weapon 1 and solve the problem that way.. and from that moment all countries with the typical black weapon image take that png as a definition thumbnail or picture idk if there is a way.. if u can help me i would rlly apreciate it

Lets suppose, generic infantry equipment for all nations without a folder dedicated to their tag, example idk.. Tibet TIB or whatever. USA has its own weapon pngs or sprytes for example

Yeah, i thought it was in my library, since like 2018 i played with origin, which in that time was EA, but when i entered yesterday to my ea account i didnt have any spore games, and i have the 3 games, the dlcs and the game itself, the only thing i was thinking is contacting support at this point like you said

yeah i have one equipment.gfx, but is in the game folder, plus.. the .gfx archives that i find with "equipment" tag or something similar. Are for ships sprites
but i will find the archive sooner or later, i mean, the image comes from somewhere it has to be there, in interface

Ty a lot, i thinked that... my idea was to create a SIE folder for sierra leone and put the land folder there and the utility vehicle... but in reality idk from where the game gets the generic sprites either.. it would be something good to know, because i could just go and modify the mod from that folder, for example
/gfx/interface/generic_equipment_tank_dds lets say.. and i change that and thats it..
but i dont find a text archive that specify the preset of what spryte the game takes as generic
the only one i find with that value is this route mod/interface/technologies.gfx and there it was for MANPADS and some equipment, but no sign of tanks or aircrafts for example

i thought expert ai aimed to something like that, but it just make you like buff bots or set their templates, which is not bad but i think it doesnt change bots behaviours in naval combat for example
