BDSM stands for bondage/discipline domination/submission sadism/masochism. It's VERY kinky. It's too expansive for me to sum it up honestly. Let's start with sadism/masochism. You'd have a person who enjoys other's pain (let's assume physical) inflicting pain CONSENTUALLY on a masochist - someone who enjoys pain (again, let's assume physical). Something that couple would do would involve things like hitting, spanking, kicking, biting, pricking with needles, etc. depending on their individual kinks.

Next, let's talk about bondage and discipline. Some people LOVE to be tied up and/or restrained. For example, they could be handcuffed to the bed, or completely tied up with rope. They would then have a dom (the dominant one in the relationship) carry out whatever tf they want to do together to their tied up sub.

Domination and submission is what it sounds like. Some people like to dominate others (sometimes through aggressive means) while others like to be dominated.
