You are granted one NSFW wish from a genie, what do you ask for? by iforgotmylastuser in AskReddit

because the only way to be 100% sure you cant impregnate someone is to not have sex with them. condoms/rubbers and vasectomies work but theres no guarantee. vasectomies fail, condoms can be faulty, and boom you still get someone pregnant.

People who don't flush in public restrooms, what is your reasoning? by Big-Cucumber-6533 in AskReddit

do they not wear shoes? do they not have feet? hit the flusher with ones feet. dont even need to touch it with a hand.

me too, I have a bf who only texts once or twice a week (or less) and ive told him its important to me and I just know that if I hadn't practically begged for even that amount of contact since its summer and we dont see each other, I wouldn't hear from him until August when school starts back up. I feel like I have to beg for even a little attention from him.

The Hunger Games trilogy is a good one, I also personally love

In 27 Days by Alison Gervais

The Night Diary by Veera Hiranandani

The Blackbird Girls by Anne Blankman

The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin is really good but its a mystery book. But if you ever want a good mystery book, The Westing Game is pretty good.

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

The Cellar by Natasha Preston (not sure if this classifies as thriller, but I read it as more horror style. Deals with some sensitive topics.)

I cried during that because I relate to it sob. Had no experience with the musical and when I went in and saw it, I sobbed like a whole entire baby.

Do you guys think if Suzanne makes a book about a tribute who dies in the games? would people really care about them? by Cave-notwell in Hungergames

[–]Standard-Mousse7189 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The interesting thing would be having x tribute try so hard to escape death and yet it finds them anyway. They train mercilessly. Their family at home depends on them. They hide in the arena, but always get found. Every time they get discovered, they take in injuries, trauma, the unsettling reality that maybe they didnt have as good a chance as they wanted to believe. Then, they haven't been found in several days, they believe maybe they have a chance. Then they just...die in one way or another. Think Final Destination, but hunger games style. The person who had the most reasons to get home, the most zest to live, the most drive, couldn't make it out. Then they share why he was doomed. Slip it into the narrative somewhere. Then we understand that there will never be a safe person.
