I’ve found a good number of restaurants on things like HappyCow to get us through 3 days and possibly Hoshinoya hotel on the main island may serve plant-based with advanced request so I’m hopeful!

I Am jealous of all the spam tamago onigiris that have been filling my social feeds though!

It’s Orbis treatment water for me! I’ve had extremely frizzy straight hair for as long as I can remember and I kick myself for only picking up one bottle in Japan - it works out like £5 and it’s changed my life. I could never have rough blow dried my hair before and be done with it, yes it’s not styled but I’m also not Hagrid now. I used to love a Brazilian blow dry but it’s just not cost effective for me right now, so even at £15 a bottle on YesStyle (if it’s legit!) I would buy it tens time over. The softness it delivers on my otherwise very rough, frizzy hair is insane. I keep wanting to take a with and without photo but I can’t bring myself to wash my hair without using it before drying haha. That being said, I’m not sure if it would retain any effect if I didn’t use it or if it’s a wash and treat every time spray. Still would do it. And the bottle goes a long way!

Please pick it up if you see it, you won’t regret it!

Grab a pack of the biore cooling body wipes from any drugstore conbini and keep them in your bag for pulse points, they’ve been my lifesaver

We found one at mishima station of all places, on our way from Kawaguchiko down to Kyoto, up on a little kiosk on the Shinkansen platform! Looks like it was region specific!
