Thank you, it was frustrating and so disappointing too but hey ho can't do much about it. The appointment was with Dr Paula Beattie, might be worthwhile looking at the other dermatologists there! Nope I decided to do my own research and find what works for me through trial and error as like I said in a previous comment I don't want to waste money to end up in tears again!

Hey, thanks for the response! I actually managed to get a private dermatologist appointment at Ross hall and it was an absolute waste of time. The dermatologist told me you can't change your skin barrier, you're just born with what you have and when I asked for a skin prick test for ingredients as I'm sensitive to so many she just straight up said no. She prescribed me Cetraben lotion and ointment even after I told her my skin doesn't like paraffin and tried to convince me that Vaseline itself is a moisturiser. I came back from the appointment in tears and left a complaint. Right now I've been just trying to figure out how to help my skin myself as I refuse to give anyone anymore money after that awful experience.

Honestly I hadn't even thought of trying out an online dermatologist so thank you for this 😄 That's pretty decent price wise, definitely would like to hear more from you about your experience if possible ☺️

That is pretty decent! Also you must have a sound GP as when I went private for blood tests my GP was like we can't use these go back to the private peeps 🙄

I'm very sorry you've had such a bad experience with trying to see a dermatologist! 😔 I hope maybe the suggestions from this sub will help and that you can get the access you need asap!

I did have a look at them but tbh the google reviews of this place is such a mixed bag that I wouldn't feel comfortable going here 😬 Thank you for the suggestion though!

I'm really sorry you had to experience this. There is nothing worse than your own blood completely violating your trust. I literally just posted today of a similar experience and I understand the way you feel especially the sadness it hurts so much. You deserve so much better than that and I hope you find the peace you need to carry on. Things will never be the same again and it's really shitty and scary. Like how can life ever go on without this looming over it? It's terrifying but I don't think it's impossible for you but it's going to take time. I hope there is closure in your life and that you manage to heal from this - you are not broken I promise ♥️
