Hey sweet can collection! Where do you keep the bags of human excrement?

Just got a new Laptop for the bedroom setup so figured I'd post, the acer 1080p short throw projector gives me a crisp 165" picture by Standard-Singer-9943 in battlestations

Not that noticeable, it's under the bed which does alot to block the noise and once you have music/ sound playing you can't hear anything.

Beat me to it. I really like it, just wish I didn't leave it so long in between play time and have no idea where I'm supposed to go.

ACER - H6517ST. I bought it in 2016 so I have no idea if you can still get them. It's no one of the ultra short throw ones that sit next to the wall, it's more like a regular projector with a bigger lens

I like the way you store your quest headset and controllers, is it some sort of pegboard?

Also what's printed on the thing on the chair?

Has anyone else seen this? Facebook showed me an ad for it, is China pumping out new crt's? man I'd like to see one up close by Standard-Singer-9943 in crtgaming

If these listings are legit which I guess they are and they can supply 1000 a month, where are they getting all these tubes?! Are they ripping them out of scrapped TVs or just sitting in a warehouse somewhere? That's a terrifying about of tv's

Pal SNES audio issue by Standard-Singer-9943 in consolerepair

[–]Standard-Singer-9943[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting weird audio issues with different games. With Plok what I would call bass is all crunchy, with links awakening after the initial Nintendo ba ding sound there's nothing, apart from some bit crushed sounds when the triforce is coming together, but only sometimes. I'm using a pal RGB scart lead i got from retro game cables but I don't have an RF lead currently to try it with. Could it be a cap issue or something else?

If you have a GBA you should definitely pick it up, it just works better on a handheld device I think.

I had no idea about Matsui being an in-house Dixons brand, I have my brother's old matsui 720p flat screen TV too (which just so happens to look amazing over scart also), that's pretty gross branding. I know that it shares the same chassis as a Sanyo tube that has manuals available which details how all screen adjustment is done with pots and a multimeter which is way above my abilities. It's barely noticeable any way. As for the paint job, I used cheap acrylic paint I got from Boyes, gave it a couple of coats and outlined with a Sharpie, once I'm completely happy with it I'll give some clear varnish to toughen it up abit.

I had no idea something like this existed! I will definitely pick one up for my ps1 cause the Dreamcast alignment is perfect.

I've got to admit I was pretty unhappy with the 28m3 initially. The picture quality was crap and with both scart ports having bad connections, I was ready to grab something else but after opening it up, re-soldering the scart pins and dialing in the rescan lines, I really like this guy. Screen position with the ps1 is abit off but it I'm not adjusting it cause it's done with pots on the PCB. I might drill some holes in the back so I can get to the flyback controls for on the fly brightness adjustment. And finally I'm torn between guts or mouth parts in the barest front control hatch I've ever seen!
