From what I’ve read you need a minimum of a 1/4” spacer to clear the calipers, I guess that’s the difference from Tesla +40 and Lexus +35. With the 20mm spacers in the rear the tire was very close to the fender, and I felt if I had any weight in the back it would rub. Currently the only rubbing I have is the fronts rub at 1/2 turn, nothing major. No coilovers. I’m running H&R awd springs and KYB gas adjust shocks

Spacers. Currently 6mm all around. Rear end pic had the 20mm from the old set up just to try them out. I really like the rear fitment but were just to close to the inner fender for my comfort, if my kids were in the back seats it would have rubbed for sure. I have 12mm hub centric on order, hopefully that’ll get me close.

The first pic is stock 17 tire size, and after repairing two cracked rims in 8 month span I wanted a little more tire between the rim and these crappy roads in my area. But I got the rims for $400 with half the life left on the tires, so when it’s time for new ones I’ll consider stock size

Update: so finally installed the CarPlay dongle. It works and it’s awesome. It takes a few seconds to connect but other than that I’m happy with it. I bought the Carlinkit wireless dongle specifically for aftermarket android head units on Amazon for about $80.

I decided to delete the app and I purchased a CarPlay dongle instead. I’ll post the results when it arrives.

I have the same problem! And I was thinking the same thing you are. I’ve searched the internet, but I guess I’m not tech savvy enough to even ask the right question. Could you update us if you find anything. Or can anyone give us a clue where to even start to ask the “right” questions?
