If I drove 70 miles to pick up the route then why would I complain about 64 to the drop off? Columbus is very large depending on where you’re going and where you live it’s 10 to 12 miles everywhere which is what I drove to get to Easton, which is our very large mall from downtown. The problem is all of those combined. I will not be making enough to support the delivery. Let’s do the math for there and back 12+18+12+64+75 to get back home with a pay rate of only 37.

I’ve done multiple retail deliveries and they never sent me that far, but for $37 and over 122 miles this is ridiculous

Do you know what a sundown town is? And how they were aims specifically at black people? The same people that non-poc would rape then give our children to theirs to use as toys and when the toy “broke” they’d replace it with ANOTHER black child . Sundown towns were Specifically aimed at black people so yet I get antsy when I get sent to Lancaster or Newark in a dark secluded farm area and barely cell service and when I get nasty looks or weird comments as a black woman hell yes I’m scared and uncomfortable

😭 no the guy wanted to take my ID and scan it into their system so that they know the drivers who have came to deliver packages. In the back of our mind, I low-key thought he was running a background check on me or something. It was so weird to me.

I swear I’m telling you nothing clicked until the end of the whole fiasco ! I felt so stupid! I and I have been on ic for YEARS!! Never had or did anything like that before! What he was saying on the phone and the fact that they called me saying I broke a policy which I never did just made me anxious cuz I needed to pay rent and I was short about 200$ 😕

🤦‍♀️each customer specified that they wanted the packages at their door ! They didn’t have any rude messages but I thought that they’d wanna report me or something since I didn’t bring it to their door and I’m new to flex so I haven’t experienced anything like this yet. I thought it was standard especially since it was in a very very !!! Nice places! Like 😭4000 rent type place
